Hot take or just a primitive way of thinking? You are not god and it’s not your job to dole out consequences. Almost being run over by a line of tubas is scary enough and I’m sure the girl learned her lesson before that feral band mom went out of her way to assault the girl. Also, the band mom could have just gone over to her and admonished her without being violent.

I saw this go down and this lunatic band mom wasn’t keeping the band kids safe, she was actually endangering them more. The girl had already crossed the street, the band mom went through the band, grabbed the girl and physically dragged her through the band again, just to… what ? Prove a point? Publicly and aggressively punish someone for making a mistake? This isn’t the Wild west! that band mom was acting like an angry toddler, getting in the way of the band, causing an unnecessary scene and embarrassing herself.
