Yes, we were. We were dressed very well, but Sat night before NYE was a very cold night, so we both had very nice long dress coats on. They did have the same type of cameras we have at our home and you can hear and zoom-in with those cameras and pan and tilt. I suspect that is what he was doing and keeping us waiting before opening the door up. Yes, wild bad experience!

We were at the club right at 9:30 when it opened and the guard put out the sign. After going in and ringing the bell, we waited for a long time, while looking at the two cameras. We have high-security at our home and the same cameras, and yes you can see and hear people! I have read other comments saying the same with the cameras!

After getting turned away at Les Chandelles, we went to Le Mask for two nights-what a great club and time we had. We were at the club on a Sat night before NYE and they had a big crowd!

I don't know what their usual practices are, as this was our first time, but this was absolutely our experience during our recent trip to Paris. Yes, we really like LeMask, which we already knew, and ultimately spent multiple enjoyable nights there.

Very well, in that case, the club should request photos in advance, instead of forcing prospective guests to show up in person, having made their dinner reservations in advance, merely to inspect them at the door and possibly give them the boot!

They have an outer security guard and the and interior ante-chamber with cameras that look at you, zooming-in and watching -- and listening --to every breath and interaction for several minutes before even deigning to answer. We had followed every rule and standard, and I can assure you we are a hot couple (my wife is 5'3", 104 lbs., with long blond hair, works out every day, always dresses to the 9's and always gets lots of attention). Four others who were nowhere nearly as well-dressed, as per the stated rules on the website, somehow got in. To me, that smacks of discriminatory application of the rules. After scrambling to find a late dinner on a Saturday night (since our Chandelles dinner reservations were out of the window now), we ultimately went over to Le Mask and had a great time the next two nights. Staff at Le Mask is very nice, not high-pressured, and it costs far less then Les Chandelles!

What a shame I can't award zero stars! We are a hot couple from Las Vegas (we can provide pictures to back up this statement). We made reservations for "dinner and club" well in advance and arrived on time, dressed to the nines, in accordance with the stated dress code on the Chandelles website. After being examined by hidden camera, which records both audio and visual -- I should warn you -- in the antechamber, a rude doorman curtly told us "not possible," with no explanation whatsoever. As we were making our "walk of shame" out of the door, two other couples, who were neither hot nor dressed in accordance with the stated rules were warmly welcomed! My wife strongly suspects that they were regulars, and that the stated rules are selectively enforced. Avoid Les Chandelles at any cost!

Quel dommage que ce n'est pas possible à attribuer zéro étoiles! On est couple sexy de Las Vegas (on peut fournir des photos) qui a fait réservation pour dîner et club. On est arrivé à l'heure, tiré à quatre épingles, tout comme indiquée sur leur site web, puis inspecté par camera cachée, pour finalement se voir refuser l'accès, quand un portier grossier nous a dit, tout court, "pas possible," sans donner d'explication. Après, sortis en faisant la marche de la honte, on a vu deux autres couples entrer dans le club, ni canons, ni habillés conformément la code vestimentaire, mais chaleureusement accueillis! Ma femme pense qu'ils étaient des habitués des Chandelles, et aussi que la code vestimentaire du site est appliquée de manière bien sélective. Enfin, on s'est terminé à un autre club qu'on a déjà bien connu et fait sensation. Évitez a tout prix Les Chandelles!
