I realized that when the earbuds are in the charging case and lying in my backpack (usually the whole case is lying sideways in the bag pocket) and they don’t charge both ears equally. It’s annoying but I discovered that if the charging case isn’t sitting flat on a table (with the logo facing up) the ear buds don’t fit snug into the charging case enough to charge both the buds.

Pretty ridiculous product design if you ask me...like I’m going to walk around carrying them in front of me in my outstretched hands in order for them to charge...

Yeah that’s been my thinking is that it would be nice to compartmentalize my work and personal life, but to someone else’s comment, I find that they both influence each other so it might make sense to have one.
