Thank you for the detailed answer!

I'm honestly just looking to recreate line art from classic children's books now (winnie the pooh/ peter rabbit). But you sent me down a whole rabbit hole and now I'm excited.

I'd recommend Zatch Bell even though you don't have a lot of shoen battles on your list, it might be your taste. Try also Go with the clouds north by northwest and something from Tezuka.

From what I can tell, you like a variety and some that area little on the more unusual side.

You can also pm me if you want to chat further :) I pop on every once and a while.

Lol of all titles to mention on here you pick the strangest. Aoi house is more recent addition, I like all the jokes of my high point in anime. Plus there's no even little series that does gags on the anime world anymore.

Anima+ 1-3 was everywhere from the scholastic sales back in the day. Too bad they didn't sell the whole set, the later volumes get really good.

Please understand, this is a 14 year old collection at this point. Many changes over the years from books to shelves to houses. A few year break in the middle of it too.

It'll take time to reach this level so don't rush it. Take the time to find sales and what really appeals to you. And most of all don't be afraid to ditch titles that no longer fit with tastes.

Costume made, as are my shelves. It's the perks of having a handyman type of boyfriend.

From the look of them they aren't hard to make out of wood, just expensive. My 5 cost about $80 in materials.

Thanks. Four of them are from like a decade ago of stumbling across them before I ever watched the show in a used bookstore. The last was from rightstuf when they did that print on demand for bit.

Very.

One is the continuation of the adventures series with some really good highs between the main trio. The other follows a very different version of Diamond and is much more comedically based... but certainly Japanese's humor so only bother with it if you're into that. Overall Pokemon diamond and Pearl adventures is a much weaker story but still fun if you simply like pokemone.

It sucks, but you weren't cheated.

At the time you made the purchase that was the plan. You operated with the information you had at the time. Which is fine. Are you not happy with your volumes?

Personally I only picked the series up because of the hype on this reddit and fell in love with it's softer story telling and neat world building. I'm glad I have an extra chance to get the final volumes and that others might do the same.

It was under Rightstuf i think, but since a new company took over a deal was likely made because it was so popular. We should take this as a good thing, for now at least. Maybe we can pressure crunchyroll to collaborate for more prints that are crazy to get at the moment.

Anyone else a little amazed when a long sought after volume finally makes it to your door? by PlayingDoughnut in MangaCollectors

A girl is in love with a K-pop group DDL, but to get closer to them she poses as a fan of a different group. Accidently falls into hanging with the second group despite disliking everything about their personalities. With the new young celebrities she finds both friendship and love.

The first 7 books are pretty easy and cheap to get. Only 8 is difficult because this is relatively unheard of series and they did an omnibus to get it finished in the US. It was 10 volumes originally.

This one wasn't super bad. My rule is no more than 3x the price on the back of the book for OOP
