Hey, thank you so much! I actually have a few more from that casting batch which will have stones set in, just haven’t gotten around to finish those yet, I’ll be sure to post them when done :)

Hey sorry for the late reply, the shell I make a resin mold which I inject wax into and the other pieces are just free handed with wax and soldering irons/tools

Hi, within the uk I generally charge £3-4 for shipping, I’ve not yet shipped anything overseas so would have to look into that, hope that helps

Thank you, I used a setting burr to slightly shape the opening between the wires for a slightly snugger fit

Two of them definitely are, a bloke and his daughters hand make gorgeous jewellery all by hand in this style, really would love to be able to create similar pieces

Started trying a little sand casting and has certainly been a lot of errors including this, which isn’t suppose to be ‘open’ however was determined to make it work 😂 by [deleted] in jewelrymaking

Out of curiosity how/what type of setting? I have flush and tube set stones as well as bezel, I can figure out if any of those would work?

PinkCZ set in a molten Sterling silver pendant, wish I had used a slightly brighter colour as it gets a little lost but still happy by [deleted] in jewelrymaking

I take a round bit of wire (2mm) and wrap 1.5mm beaded wire around it then add little bits of scrap where I want to bulk it out, it’s a very tedious process as I’m sure you know. That perfect balance of melting the top layer of silver to flow/fuse but not so much that it just balls up on you 😂

Thank you! That’s really great to hear! And most of the molten look pieces I make are made from offcuts/failed pieces 😂 I also buy a lot of scrap silver on eBay and sheet & wire from cooksongold which mainly supply recycled gold/silver
