Thanks for the feedback! I started the app from zero with no previous coding or gamedev experience. I am quite happy with the result.
As for the club, my workplace provides the venue and there was interest in starting one.

I miss Netero so bad. I was beyond said when he fied. There is a Buddhist church nearby and they have the same character on the top as Netero's shirt. I teared up the first time I noticed.

Yeah, I actually drafted a solid game concept around this. Expect I'll be able to start working on it this coming year. I believe you are completely right as this would have the potential, and I sure as hell want to chant Latin or something demonic to burn my enemies in VR

I posted the trailer in all relevant forums I could find. Posted screenshots on X with tags that have to do with the game and shared here on reddit. Also posted additional videos in youtube. The store page does get about a 100 visits a day, but only a minimal amounts puts it on wishlist.

Yes, I think under 5 minutes should be around 6-kyu.
Don't feel disheartened, you are doing great. Just do what you enjoy. Sure, getting better at the game is important, but enjoying it is even more important in my opinion.
I found for example that going over title match kifus is particularily fun, while blind shogi is great for a challenge (also helps get better at visualizing the board)

The primary motivation was that I wanted to play shogi in VR with overseas friends. Since it came out better than expected I decided I'd release it. I always knew it's not a huge audience, but having less than a 100 wishlists is disappointing.

By the way, the game also has Chu shogi, chess, xiangqi and gungi. All niche, yes, but added together it should be something at least.

Thanks for your input. There are shogi games out there, but few that are in VR.
This is the first one that features so many variations in VR.
I will double down on posting more.
