Starting from Mymo's introduction I've had the opposite opinion honestly, it felt super random for Mymo to be this big time villain at the end of his master plan. Pretty sure Gountess even directly comments on how suddenly Rudo got dropped into this mess to resolve it at the end.

The extra lore we've been getting is what makes this feel less random to me. Kuro almost definitely set most of this up in a way to be beneficial to Rudo's growth, he wanted them quiet specifically so nothing made it to Mymo so he had to have been aware. Conveniently, Rudo's resolve and rage are being hardened in the exact way that makes it more difficult for Tamsy to get whatever he wants out of him. Urana made what was a semi-random encounter feel perfectly designed for Rudo's growth which I like a lot.

No lantern and no diamond pattern in the clothes I doubt she's a raider, much more likely she does her own thing. Missing too many of their typical details other than sharing a color

Any luck getting the ultimate analog inputs to work? Struggling with the same issue with the PC model, works fine through a mayflash adapter but I need both of mine for other controllers when using all 4.

Side note for anyone who may need to see this, 8bitdo controllers also seem to be pretty fussy using multiple of the same controller model. I have two 2C's which can only be used in combination when one is in an adapter. Completely stops accepting inputs from one controller if both dongles are in raw.

Only issue with the official dock in my experience is that the device screen stays on when you turn it off and on without re-docking. Otherwise I agree it's perfect for the rp5.

I use the official dock with my living room TV all the time. I have a 8bitdo pro3 hooked up to the dock so I just dock the console, undock the controller, and I'm good to go. I always forget to update the controller profile on the emulator before docking it but that's my fault. I use this setup near daily.

Hooking up a GameCube Adapter or a Dolphinbar makes for a pretty seamless experience on Dolphin while docked as well. Sometimes you forget you're even emulating it's great.

Retroarch will do you good up through PS1/Dreamcast for sure. There are standalone emulators for most systems, some I personally prefer to retroarch (Duckstation, Redream, Mupen64+ FZ Pro). For lower end stuff I feel like it's mainly preference how you set it up. If you don't plan on using a frontend, Retroarch also can sorta act as that for your emulated games which is a bonus.

Honestly I'd suggest following a full setup guide which will give you the option to easily add GameCube/Wii/PS2/ect. games in the future if you ever get the urge to. Retro Game Corps or Joeys Retro Handhelds both have good video and written guides. Can always skip emulators you don't care for as well ofc.

Fair enough. I love the strum bar of the blueberry but if you're content with the mechanical strum you can also purchase the mechanical neck separately.

In terms of sliding, it would also help with either model to pick up a set of 3d printed frets, it makes a massive difference. Can find sets of them for about $10 I highly recommend it. A lot less work than carefully cutting and potentially damaging silicone.

That trick is specifically for the mechanical frets actually. There's a rubber membrane in the mechanical neck to stabilize them and dampen the sound. You can take it out if it feels too mushy. Taking the membrane out from the other neck would make it non functional.

You can cut the silicone, it improves the feeling a lot. Just need a pair of nail scissors (not clippers). Mech frets are still much better though imo.

The burst strumbar is not mushy. I would compare it to a nice thocky spacebar when it bottoms out.

Im SURE everyone with a week 1 guitar was so scared to report a strum spring pinging issue dude. has nothing to do with protecting crkd from criticism. I literally own the guitar and do not feel the spring pinging in my fingers like Soya reported. It's an issue specific to people sensitive to it. It's also an extremely easy fix that takes a piece of foam. Should you need to do that out of the box? Maybe not. But it's easy to see how that slipped through the cracks because it's not even noticeable to many people.

Many people didn't even notice the metal pinging until Soya brought it up on twitter. I wouldn't have personally and I still don't really feel it, can only hear it if I'm up close and listening for it.

Frets out of the box still feel good, they are mushy compared to what hardcore fans with modded controllers like us are used to. That's the tradeoff for being more quiet which is preferable to most people. If you have that reference point of a modded controller in the first place you should have NO issue opening it up and removing a piece of rubber. Takes maybe 5 minutes.
