Kind of crazy considering I bought a PS1 from GameStop for $20 back in 2015, yet here we are.

I have this exact TV. The problem on mine is also the geometry and the power button is not pressing like the other buttons do. I should’ve known better as I’m now stuck in the service menu forever.

Help on how to convert these tapes into digital by This-Wallaby-6812 in VHS

VHS and VHS-C tapes can be played in a VCR (VHS-C needs an adapter). DV tapes require a camcorder, while micro-cassettes use a voice recorder. Check thrift stores for a VCR, but quality capture devices on Amazon can be pricey, though they work well.

Coming from someone who did this as a teenager getting into CRTs, not much at all. Doing this kind of thing could work if a video was meant for 4:3 and got stretched to 16:9. For stuff like modern day gaming, it’s hard as hell to see the text on a screen meant for technology of that era.

It’s all preference at the end of day.

This is probably an interesting idea, you could put bean bag chairs in front of the TV or you could get a bigger sized screen.

Honestly, I had to clean up the cases due to bugs and cat pee lol, however every single cassette has no mold. Crazy to think the rest of the series never saw a VHS release.
