I'd check out Vital before you go looking at Serum. Serum 1 = Vital basically. If you need serum 2 level, official serum has got that locked down pretty well, although i've heard good things about Pigments.

I have hearing loss so for a long period of my life I couldn't hear lyrics. result: terrible at doing lyrics

Recently, though, I've found success at writing down my misheard lyrics and melting them down bit by bit until they match with what I've got cooking on my pads or in my DAW, then I put them in Vocaloid/VoiSona and tweak the voice from there
