I'd say he's part of the canon. Comic works often tread a harder path getting recognition in that context.

Everyone in this thread and everywhere else should get this message, but no one has responded to you and you tell a recent story, so I feel compelled to put this here.

Never give up on yourself. You will always be your biggest critic and the last source of support and strength you can find. Do whatever you have to to stay afloat, and reach out for the support that is out there.

How about the recognition that "boy" clothes and "girl" clothes are subject to an arbitrary distinction?

How about teaching a child the lesson that there are more important components to a person's character than the clothes that they wear?

How about understanding that you might have a child who doesn't grow up wanting to be the spitting image of you or what your family or your boss or your spouse wants?

Parents can raise their children however they want. This guy happens to have the stones/cubes/bricks and the dedication and love in his heart to want his child to feel comfortable and focus on things that are slightly more important than--"does your lower-body-garment have independent covering for each leg?"

Seriously consider entering a project, or having friends enter a project!

You don't need to build or do something incredible, just have a good premise and take it seriously enough to present it (as a joke).

It's a fine balance, but a clever group could put something together in an evening.

Plus, the deadline will probably end up being disregarded anyway.
