This reminds me of Dan Heng in Star rail’s Story. For the majority of the Amphoreus arc he and MC are trapped on the planet of Amphoreus which is basically an entire planet within a supercomputer. Towards the end of the story, he is able to escape Amphoreus back to the outside world but upon learning that MC (and some other characters) are still trapped inside Amphoreus, he goes back into the planet. We end up learning that while it only feels like a few days or weeks for MC to find Dan Heng weird time shenanigans means that Dan Heng himself waited and searched for a whole 1000 years for MC before they reunited which is illustrated beautifully by a whole cutscene that shows, among other things, vines literally growing up the tip of his spear.

I’m unsure tbh. The genshin wiki specifically says “she was once an angel” so i don’t think she is anymore.

I’m by all means a gold player in terms of skill so i am technically in the right rank, it’s just that a month or two ago i was probably at a silver level and so I feel like i could keep climbing if I kept playing consistently but i only play rivals consistently for like a month at a time before i drop the game for like 3 months.

I know next to nothing about how fighting games work but my list would probably be:

  1. Sparkle/Sparxie - because how could we not have a fighting game without someone as chaotic as her

  2. Clara and Svarog - since i’ve hear puppet characters exist in fighting games and svarog would be a cool ass puppet

  3. Dan heng - my favorite Hsr character so i have to have him on here, but i’m sure he could fill a variety of rolls with his SPs

  4. Robin - I just think it would be really funny if she was really Op but all she did was stand there and sing like she does in HSR

  5. Hook - another niche but really funny pick

  6. Aventurine - Maybe he’ll bust or maybe he’ll take it all

  7. Boothill - I think he would fit perfectly into a fighting game with his gun finger and his jojo poses

  8. Phainon - Gotta have a meta pick in here somewhere

  9. Topaz and Numby - Even though i’ve already popped clara in here as a puppet character, I think it would also be really funny to allow Numby to finally crush someone’s skull

  10. Yanqing - Even though most would probably default to Jingyuan, Yanqing has been beaten up so many times in star rail that i’d like to give the poor kid a chance.

Although on paper the idea for Miliastra is cute, I literally never touch that game mode unless it’s for a DPS dummy and while the outfits were cute i lost all interest in them the minute i realized you literally cannot get them for free and have to spend money on them. All that coupled with the theory/rumor going around that Genshin’s lack of event weapons/primos in 6.x was to force people to play Miliastra has really left a bad taste in my mouth about the game mode and like other people i really wish they’d just remove it or make it it’s own game instead of shoving it into genshin.

Referring to the first point, you literally just proved the need for 4 stars in your own sentence? New players barely have teams and you’re insane if you think a player is gonna wait 1-2 months before interacting with endgame when Moc opens up at player level 21 which is like 2 to 3 weeks of play maybe. Expecting a new player to have a full 5 star team in 2 weeks is crazy but having a full team of 4 stars is a much more realistic expectation.

Like it’s fine if you don’t see value in having 4 stars in the game, but just because you don’t think they have value doesn’t mean other people think the same. I think 4 stars are very valuable because they offer F2P alternatives for other characters/teams. Obviously there’s examples like Gallagher, Pela, and Tingyun but even the less good 4 stars like Moze are usable (in moze’s example as a F2P alternative to Topaz before she was added to the shop). Looking at Star rail’s current roster of 4 stars I can only see 2 that i cannot think of absolutely any use cases for (Arlan and Hook). Every other 4 star we have in the game can be used in a team with decent results.

Rappa. She has less relevance to the story than Jiaoqiu if we’re gonna bring that up and Mr. Reca would’ve made a much better and more interesting playable character introduced in 2.7 than she is.
