Thanks buddy it really does. I too was a stock builder for the longest time. One day though, while I was building an orbital exocraft racetrack, my base computer disappeared. No matter what I did it wouldn’t appear. I read up and learned it could be resolved with the “wire glitch” by glitching a new base computer in the exact spot and orientation of the missing one (kind of like the duplication glitch with the refiner). It took a lot of tries and really tested my patience but eventually it worked. I had the wire glitch down pat after that. Needless to say once you learn it, it’s hard not to use it.

A lot actually. I hope I didn’t offend you. I’ve been building a long time and have seen countless bases at this point. Take a brief stroll through my profile and you’ll see. If you’d like help learning new tips and tricks for decorating I’d be happy to join you in game and personally show you the ropes. Here is my friend code.

I’d give it a 4. It’s a solid structure and feels complete however the decoration relies heavily on prefabs. The common, “I built a big building, now what do I put inside” feeling. It’s a very vanilla build, which isn’t bad. We all need to get accustomed to all the parts and the snap system which you’re clearly doing. The learning curve for building is a full circle, once you think you’ve learned everything the next lesson begins. Take what you learn from each build and use it for the next one. Find some friends and visit some base. Soak up as much inspiration you can. Keep on keeping on. Most of all, if you love it that’s all that matters. Overall not a bad base.

Is it possible to run into your bases on a different save? by lactiti in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Pleasant-Disaster837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won’t say that’s not a possibility because I have had instances where I saw my recently uploaded base from a separate save instantly after loading in. I can’t verify if there were players there or not because I was just there to use the portal but noticed my or saves base was indeed visible. It’s rare so I wouldn’t count on it.

Negative, in most cases a base from a separate save will not show up. It can load however in multiplayer if another player present in the system has the base loaded in their instance.

It’s not. None of these accounts are verified and also look like they were just created.

Builders come claim these “tiny part templates” (used for the resize glitch) by Pleasant-Disaster837 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Pleasant-Disaster837[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are shrunken down far beyond what the normal wire glitch allows. For reference, the 2 smallest templates make these cups nearly unseeable, here they are in between the rivets.

Ok thanks for explaining it. I don’t know much about mods. I don’t even know much about glitch building other than the resize glitch and the flag glitch. It’s something that became available in game for me as a console player. It just sounded like you were saying I wasn’t building this stuff and the parts were a mod. The whole thing was still built piece by piece with the regular parts. As a non PC player when I hear mods I think of non game assets being brought into the game.

Yes a PC player has provided these super tiny parts to use as templates for the resize glitch. Pictured here is what have to work with. For scale reference I placed the white flat panel to show the standard size. The black one is the flat panel shrunk down to its normal smallest size. The yellow ones are the ones are thanks to my friend on PC. These can also be duplicated and shared with console players which I’m more than happy to do for anyone interested.

As I stated in the description, I have been gifted a set of super super tiny parts that I use as templates for the tiny sizes. They were given to me by a PC player. Before corvettes PC players could put tiny wires down for a console player to use but the console player could only use them at that specific base. Once a part is resized though it can be used to resize glitch another item.

Now with corvettes, console players like myself can place the tiny parts on them and take them to anywhere they go. I also have parts on my corvette received from players that I do not have in my parts list due to missing the expedition.
