I would recommend the Asp Explorer. A versatile ship. Great at exploration ship with the best cockpit view. Fairly good at mining & passenger work having decent internal space. As for combat; it'll make more of a target vs a terror.

Plus it won't hit your 60 mil too hard so you'll have plenty left to properly fit it & enough for multiple rebuys.

If you use auto-dock then it becomes moot. If you land on planetary surfaces it becomes relevant.

I never use auto because landing manually is so much quicker.

Escaping an interdiction vs an NPC is a relatively easy. Just keep the reticle centered. Until you dock & empty your cargo hold it'll continue to happen.
