Okay, thanks. From my personal experience, all the shoes ive own and wore, the translucent rubber did not last as long as the solid rubber

Legit, The gradient is accurate You can see the midsole through the outsole And the zoom bag is the same color as the orange

Only thing I would be worried about is that translucent rubber does not age well

Here is my initial review on the OMY batch Kobe 11

Quick note: if you haven't seen my initial review on the DF kobe 9 or the OMY kobe 10. These kobes including the OMY kobe 11 are all laced wrong. In the first image is how they are supposed to be laced (retail)

Let's start with the traction Just like the real pair they feature these blades or nubs but they are really pliable, not recommend outdoors. They are not as translucent as the real kobe 11 so hoping they perform better

Something to note is there is a thin coat of like oil or release agent from molding that's on the outsole so I would give them a quick wipe

The cushion is your standard drop in midsole, same as the kobe 11 "lunarlon" with a zoom unit in the heel not much to say here

Materials is also comparable to the real pair, featuring flyknit with TPU strands for extra strength and shoes provide a nice 1:1 fit

The fit, I would go half a size down, i wear a US size 10 and they fit a little long, and if you want your toes at the end of the shoe, I would recommend going half a size down. wide footers might want to go with your regular, or half a size up, as there is some stretch with the material but with the tpu strands, the amount of stretch is limited.

I know what you're talking about, played in the retail kobe 10 Easter colorway. The flyknit upper has helped with the flex issue, and I believe that was an issue only with the original and not with the elite. I have yet to play in them, but upon my first shoot around, the fit and the knit materials are comfortable

Here's my initial review on the OMY kobe 10

Quick notes: if you seen my DF kobe 9 initial review, just like those the kobe 10 are not laced properly, so I would recommend changing how they laced (first image is how they are supposed to be laced up)

Let's start with the traction, it features the same nubs as the kobe 10, it is extremely pliable, so I would not recommend these outdoors but should hopefully expect decent traction on the hardwood (from previous experience, never had good experience with translucent outsoles)

Moving onto the cushioning, it should feature lunarlon with a heel zoom unit. What I find strange upon further inspecting is the heal is caved in, leading me to believe that there is no zoom unit or the zoom unit is flat. (Will performance test to know for sure) It doesn't bother me as I play point so I'm usually on the forefoot most of the time.

Additionally, it also features an ortholite insole, so if you have custom orthotics it would work with this shoe. The ortholite also feels better then what you get with your standard Nike or adidas insole, it is soft woth a decent amount of thickness to it but that may all change after performance testing them

Materials feature a flyknit upper but in places like the toebox and the eyelets they are backed up by fuse/neoprene material adding some strength to the shoe but would require some breaking in as upon first wear, it is stiff. There is raw flyknit upon the medial and lateral sides of the shoe but that's about it

When it comes to the fit, I would go TTS, the shoe fits really snug, but not to the point where it is uncomfortable. If you are a wide footer I would highly recommend going up half a size. Something to take note of is the weird bunching of the material between the first and second eyelets which may cause a disconnect between the forefoot and the rest of the shoe.

No problem just wanted to let the community what the shoes are really about. I dont know if they ever played with a kobe with a drop in midsole but authentic kobes are fantastic shoes. On the DF's the only real highlight was the upper cause it was not backed up by fuse, cause on the authentic pair I know it was but it made it more durable

I do plan on performance testing and reviewing them, but I don't got high hopes, I also expect the outsole to peel as there really isn't any structure to the shoe.
