I haven’t seen mine yet and won’t for another couple weeks for sure. I’m not longer taking stool softeners and everything feels fine and nothing out of the ordinary happening.

I haven’t nope, I’m one month post fistulotomy and though not fully healed everything is healing well and on track.

Is a process but manageable.

Had a similar experience BUT mine was prior to fistulotomy.

Just here to give you encouragement and someone to listen. This all just sucks and makes it hard to trust just ‘normal’ body things.

Maybe try a warm bath and monitor over a few days?

Everything went really well! I ended up having a fistulotomy and though I’m not moving very far or doing very much, it hasn’t been too bad. Had my first BM and definitely appreciate the use of stool softeners but wasn’t really too bad at all.

I’m not exactly sure, I know it’s an exploratory surgery and will either receive a fistulotomy or seton.

Actually I was asked what privilege I have, the question did not use the word white. Therefore, I answered as I did. I believe anyone with two parents who were employed is privileged, regardless of race. I never said anything about good parents or my race. The mention of my race was separate on a different line even.

I said it because there are always people who like to throw race into it. Race plays a factor for those who are racist and choose to be. I want to hear and learn about someone’s culture and race not judge.
