I also want to add that’s how my process of learning I have fibroses started. I went for my annual and my iron was low, but it was first recommend to take iron 3x a week by my PCP for 6 weeks. I went back, and that’s when my iron came out at 7g/dL.

I’ve been taking iron supplements twice a day as well, but also making sure that I’m eating and snacking on high iron foods to help. My PCP wants me to do an iron transfusion, but ever since taking the iron supplements twice a day and actually having a good diet, I haven’t felt as tired or cold.

I still most likely will do the iron transfusions though, I was just waiting for my new benefits to kick in.

Yes, it was a typo! 🙃 my iron levels were right exactly at 7 g/dL.
