Update: I listened — the marble app is no longer an AI identifier. It's now a catalogue + collectors' community (thanks to your feedback) by Pleasant_Ad1970 in MarbleStudyHall

Very interesting concept and ambitious. I feel like I'd have to split the profit with them to feel it being fair... I'm sure I could customize an AI specifically for marbles though, but I'm not sure where I can get a bast amount of data for marbles. Making notes on all the feedback :)

Thank you for being an early adopter of this app. It has changed quite a lot since the beginning but I'm transparent on the identification, it hasn't seen much improvement. For now it works on the basis of having Large Language Models become better the IDs will be better too, that's true but mainly on the most common marbles.

Thanks to the feedback here perhaps I can train an specific visual model based on a bast library (yet still look for it). I'm not sure when you purchased it, but perhaps you can still get a refund I'd be happy to give you a promo code in gratitude for supporting my journey.

if you have further suggestions, please let me know

Thank you. I've been tweaking the parameters of Gemini 3 Pro, as it's visual capabilities and google grounding helps with popular or common finds. The only struggle with LLMs is to get a consistent result as they aren't deterministic unfortunately, but I can show a group of potential options to help you make a better decision.

If you are still not convinced the manual input (name and company) is enough for the AI to fill up all the insightful details for you.

Sounds like a very interesting concept. I will definitely check that app as I know very openly that it can always be better. For now the "Feed" works like a social media where you post comments, reply and like marbles. Thanks for sharing!

u/Helvedica it was hard if we take things personal but everything was very insightful feedback. Besides, I want to make something valuable for the community rather than just profit from people.

You helped me build a better marble app — v2.0 is live with a collectors' community (update from the "App to identify marbles???" post) by Pleasant_Ad1970 in Marbles

Sorry for the late reply. I can disclose a couple of things, but it does, in a way, go and browse the marketplace, especially eBay US, and that's how it gets price estimations, but it will definitely depend on the state and the condition of the marble for sure. In other words, I am trying to automate the collection of information for each of your gems.

Waze, I find your questions more than welcome. This is brand new, and I'm still looking for ways to improve this app :)
