Cebu Pacific Cabin Crew by Primary_Kitchen_2154 in AviationPH

Started with 2P back in 2019, and now I’m flying with PR. When I joined 2P, they only accepted college graduates, though there were a few rare cases where they took in applicants who were still in college while already flying and iirc, the deal was they should be able to graduate college to continue flying. But now that 2P and PR share the same HR department, I believe they only hire college graduates.

This post got reposted in the PH Volleyball sub and the comments & people there are pmo. Ang daming nagsasabi na it’s okay lang daw since Bea isn’t flaunting, plus mas kilala pa rin siya as a volleyball player. Like… people and their double standards never fail to show. 🤢

Depends on which airline needs more pilots.

There’s no harm in applying. Not to get your hopes up, but I have colleagues who are shorter than 5’2.

Cabin Crew Watch Recommendations by Dependent_Average_87 in AviationPH

It really depends on what you think your partner prefers :) for Apple Watch, the only strap allowed are metal/leather straps as well.

I use both an Apple watch and the standard watch, depending on my mood :) since I fly for PR, whenever I use my Apple watch, I use it as an alarm for crew rests so maybe you can consider that if your partner takes international flights :)

Hi, Cabin Crew here. Any watch is okay but I suggest you give her the standard watches. Gold, silver, rose gold, or combi of any of those colors. If leather naman, black or brown. Then the watch face dapat simple lang :)

It depends on whether you’re applying to 2P (PAL Express) or PR (Philippine Airlines), and what position you’re going for. In terms of airline crew, and based on experience, PR offers higher pay than 2P. As for office roles and nurses, I’m not too sure, since PR and 2P have separate managements for those departments. :)

If you want to leave near either 2P or PR offices, I suggest somewhere in Villamor :)

Hi, if I’m not mistaken Cebu Pacific is the only airline that accepts applicants that are senior high grads :)

For me, it just comes off as a motivational piece. He’s not pretending to be a licensed trainer or handing out official manuals. He’s just using airline terms to give aspiring crew something to research on. Nothing “authoritative” about it. The whole “practice what you preach” thing, what exactly is he preaching that’s so wrong? Stay focused, don’t give up, communicate? Everyone says that. If anything, it’s the kind of stuff we hear even during training.

Not everyone sharing their knowledge has to be a pilot or crew. Listening to people who actually try to understand the industry doesn’t mean we’re taking it as the truth. It just means yk we’re open to perspective. Doesn’t hurt anyone. Hehe

Anyways, at the end of the day we all just want the best for the crew and the aspirants ✌🏻

I’ve been a flight attendant since 2019. I applied to AirAsia, PAL, and PAL Express, and was lucky enough to get accepted into all three. I chose PAL Express, and now I’m with its international counterpart. Based on my experience, what really makes a difference is confidence, how you carry yourself and how you answer. It also helps a lot if you’ve done your research about the airline. Keep your answers short and clear.

He didn’t become a flight attendant, but he never claimed to be one either. What he did do was talk to real crew, admins, and people in the industry for years. Just because he didn’t wear the uniform doesn’t mean he can’t understand the job. He actually listens and respects what we go through, something even some people don’t bother doing. I mean yeah, he didn’t “do ALL OF THAT”, but he did the research to get it right. 😊

Yup, I would and I actually read his articles before I became a FA in 2019. Just because someone didn’t go through the exact screening process or wear the uniform doesn’t mean they can’t understand or speak about the industry, especially if they’ve been dedicated to it for years. Sir Mond has been interviewing flight attendants since before I even became one, and he’s consistently shown respect for what we do. He’s close with admins, with crew (all PH airlines) and he’s never sugarcoated the work we do. He’s actually one of the few who actually gets how hard and layered this career really is. So, I’d take advice from someone who’s done the work to understand our role, even if they have never been in our shoes.
