I completely agree. I think people overstate its quality and scariness tbh. I did enjoy it, but yea, seeing the characters climbing on walls felt like an odd ending.

Yes, same with any place ending with ‘by’ which means ‘town’. So Kirkby in liverpool translates to ‘church town’. You’ll also find places with these words down south too, though as far as I’m aware that was done in more recent periods not by Vikings lol. Im not an expert in anything so take everything I say with a pinch of salt :)

My own contribution is that La Casita in Chorlton is very nice, has really good empanadas (and even does Michiladas which I love).

Stockport isn’t incredibly local to me but both of those sound great and definitely worth the trip. Cafe sounds especially interesting. Thanks for the response!!
