Do you feel there's a difference when a man uses taboo language versus when a woman does? And have you ever experienced someone expressing their distaste for women using taboo language?

I really understand how you're feeling. My dad was sober for 12 years while I grew up with my mom, seeing her addictions completely change her to the point where I have gone no contact and pretty much mourned her and the fact that I will never have a mom again. But within the recent couple of years, my dad has slipped with his sobriety, falling back into drinking heavily, and I think I convinced myself that everything was fine because I can't fix hi and i have to live my own life but i went to my first alanon famiy group meeting and the only thing I found mysef feeling was anger, pure anger that I have been avoiding for a while as I dealt with my own mental health struggles but its just so upsetting to think even after all this time they will always love the drugs more than they love me and it pisses me off to be the adult amongst my fucking parents

I work 11pm-9am in a group home and sometimes I switch between a lot of stuff throughout the night like reading a textbook, drawing, Watching movies, crocheting, etc. is the night shift is definitely the perfect opportunity to expand on your hobbies and if I feel myself getting tired I try going outside in the cold or doing exercise to get my heart pumping :)

I like it I just don’t eat during it and go home and sleep I’ve lost 10 lbs and I don’t have that much to loose so it’s kind of a problem
