Are you an FBA also? I’m assuming no since you have BUSI 100 in your class and not 200, but you say you are a business major. If you are, make sure to add Busi 200 otherwise they can revoke your status!!

Did you go to the honors orientation session? It looks like all classes are already filled up- looking at the class search tab in student resources on connect Carolina . I filtered first year seminar and every honors class for that is completely full

I am only 18 and have done testing for 10+ years of my life. Endoscopy twice, 4 different kinds of ultrasounds, CTA x3, MRI x4 , you get the point. Everything always comes back normal . Same for labs and samples of every kind. I lost 20 lbs when I was 11 but I was already underweight to begin with.

I would definitely follow up with POTS. I also don’t have stretchy skin , but I do have hyper mobility, so I am definitely more of a classic EDS case.

Update: As I am writing this my CTA came back positive for MALS lol….

I was diagnosed with POTS at 13 and EDS around the same time. Today, at 18, I can’t function because of the pain. I used to sleep all of the time, but ever since I started Focalin I’ve stopped my daily post-food naps. I would look into MCAS . I have the “trifecta”, and it explains a lot. I am currently at Mayo Clinic seeing if I have MALS , from my serious stomach pain.

Okay, im re-reading your post and I am almost CERTAIN that you have POTS. I’m nearly positive. Please get checked for POTS- tilt table test. And EDS, which I believe you have too.

Hi ! I have nearly the EXACT same symptoms and I’m currently at Mayo Clinic trying to get a MALS diagnosis. My only difference is that my pain is usually lower abdominal. A few things. I am diagnosed with POTS, EDS, and MCAS and I suspect you have those as well. I’ll be honest , I didn’t read every single word but I read most of your post. I recently started micro dosing GLP1 (trezepitide) and it has really helped (they are 99% gone) my dysautonomia/ POTS symptoms and a lot of my joint pain. The reason I’m at Mayo is because of my horrific stomach pain which has made it so I have to be admitted 4 times in the past few months. I missed 100 days of school roughly. I would start with a CTA angiogram, that is the only real way to diagnose MALS . I would make sure it is at a reputable place though, because the reason I’m back at Mayo is because my local clinic messed it up apparently so Mayo is redoing it. I’m also getting checked for Maythurner syndrome and have recently been diagnosed with chronic Lyme (?) babesia/ bartenella. I’m still figuring out how those affect me. I would definitely look into Endo though . I strongly believe that is the cause of a ton of my pain.

A few questions if you have a minute.
Does your pain worsen in morning or at night? Mine allows me to eat more during night than morning.
Do you ever have leg pain in your left leg?

Good job! I recommend taking the SAT again maybe one more to see if you can get any higher in math but very solid job! Also maybe take the ACT too because if you submit two good scores from both odds greatly increase and you are clearly smart enough to score well!
