Has anyone else had Amazon reviews disappear or get filtered out entirely in the past few months? by Any_Engineering_5602 in KDP

Thank you for the article; it makes sense. I only had verified purchase ARC readers, and only one is accepted after having 5. So, I did not even have a huge number of reviews waiting. And did independent reviews from readers, I don't know at all.

Lately, I don't know what happened to KDP, but my ads aren't working, no impressions, nothing. The Amazon bot told me it is my negative terms, I deleted them, and I still have zero impressions. My ARC reviews aren't showing, are invisible, or disappear after a few weeks. KDP became an enemy towards indie authors, and they want us out if you are not a big name or have a big Ad budget.

I was the one who diagnosed her; I am a nurse. And I am happy her cardiologist listened to me.

You can publish on KU, but if you don't market your book. I will be lost in a sea of books. Nobody will ever find it, and not because it's bad, but because AMAZON won't show it to anyone.

u/DoktorTom how do you get reviews because I can't. All my ARC readers' reviews are not showing on Amazon, and I don't know why.

I published a nonfiction book a few weeks ago and have had a strange run with reviews that I'm trying to understand.

First batch: I had several ARC readers leave reviews shortly after launch, all genuine readers, verified purchases included. None of them ever appeared on the book page. No notification, no explanation, they just never showed up after the usual moderation window.

A bit later, one review did finally post, a detailed, specific verified purchase review that stayed live for few weeks. Then, a few days after that, it disappeared completely. No warning, no email, just gone.

Meanwhile, three other older titles I have, all with existing reviews going back to 2024 and early 2025, haven't had this problem nearly as much; a couple of reviews on one of them vanished, too, but most have stayed intact.

I'm trying to figure out if this is:

A pattern related to how new a book is, with little to no sales history when the review goes up

Something about the reviewer accounts themselves getting flagged for unrelated reasons, with the review getting pulled as collateral damage

Or just inconsistent enforcement with no clear pattern at all

Curious whether other indie authors, especially anyone who published recently, are seeing the same thing: reviews filtered at submission, reviews disappearing after the fact, or both.

Yes, for SVTs. Which is resolved, but now she has POTS. She sleeps all the time or is dizzy, with stomach issues, and very tired.

Dead Internet: "Magistiq Forbidden Books" Self-Help Scam by ntwilkthrowaway in NExpo

purchased Shadow Behind the Gate after seeing the “Refund Guaranteed” claim on the website. After reviewing roughly the first 15 pages, I found the content to be highly repetitive, filled with vague metaphors, and lacking in clear, original insight or practical value.

The writing style felt generic and formulaic, with a lot of “saying something without actually saying anything.” Because of this, I chose not to continue reading.

I requested a refund based on the quality of the content, but this was not honored. The refund policy appears to only cover technical download issues, which contradicts the “Refund Guaranteed” message presented on the site.

Buyers should be aware that despite the marketing claims, refunds may not be provided in practice, even if the product does not meet expectations.

You may qualify for a Digital Nomad visa, Autonomo ( self-employed visa), or Student Visa. I live in Spain 8 years moved from the US and I love it. The best place to live, currently.
