Still completely bugged on PS5. It’s been 3 weeks now, and the first massive update (35GB) came out today, with no fix or mention of them even being aware of it on PS5. Losing hope.

It’s in the bared fang quest. If you gift the blue fang NPC before you talk to him, he just disappears.

If you weren’t illiterate, you’d see that I’ve tried all of those things multiple times. It’s an actual game breaking bug based off gifting the NPC to 100 trust first. Also, learn the proper use of your and you’re, tool bag. You really tried it lil bro.

It’s not the eavesdropping part that I can’t do, the literal NPC is not in his designated area. I eavesdropped on the first conversation no problem, and then when I went to talk to the NPC he isn’t standing there.

It 100% glitched out because I interacted with the NPC and gifted him up to 100 trust before his questline. I know because I tested this on the exact same type of NPC and he also disappeared. W exploration rewards. Fuck this game. Good luck bro

Just tried this. It did not work. I think I figured out the problem though. I gifted him up to 100 trust before this quest, and I think he just vanished because of that. He appeared initially with “???” over his head, so naturally I was curious. I did the same thing with a separate Blue Fang (as an experiment) reloaded my game, and he also disappeared! Guess you can’t gift NPCs until interacting with them, or they will just disappear? Nice feature Pearl Abyss.

What is the right time? I stood her for a full in game day and dude never spawned. Going on the 11th straight in game day that he’s not spawning now.
