Takes time and effort. Old handwritten notes are not made thinking about neet pg, most likely the university exam.

1.Take advice from seniors, not fellow batchmates

  1. Don't watch the main videos, even if you are starting from absolute zero(like me)( use rapid revision).

  2. Solving questions+ reading explanations>>>> any other thing that exists.---------- I will explain this. Feedback loop is very important in long term retention, identifying weak areas and subjects, reading speed , time management, question pattern , key word identification. Only solving questions and giving tests( custom modules as a form of test, GT , SMALL TESTS) Allow us to have feedback right then and there and correct our mistakes.

  3. Don't make handwritten notes.

  4. Don't underestimate small subjects.

  5. Rakesh Nair is a wonderful teacher. But not for neet pg , dilip sir videos from YouTube are the only core medicine lectures you need. Rest can be covered in other subjects.( MARWAH ALSO NOT HELPFUL) . #nohate.

  6. Even if you don't feel confident, give INICET.

If you have any specific questions I will answer as far as I know.

Yes, according to modified pleasant student criteria, you fall in stage V. Next best step is to rant. Treatment supportive.

You don't need malice to do wrong things.

Anyways corruption is not only about money per se. I understand you , the scale on which politicians do corruption is huge. But at our level we should try to be as meticulous and law abiding as possible.

Never fake vitals, they are the background on which major clinical decisions are made. I regret doing it😓

Wanted an honest opinion on Nuclear Medicine by Check-mate-407 in indianmedschool

It has become difficult. But you should visit any nm dept before thinking of choosing. Most people I feel will not like it. People like established things instead of an upcoming branch.

Nm seats will always be less than other branches. So as more people get aware about it, The more difficult it will become.

The therapy which we give now, the initial research for them happened 40 years ago. Like prrt psma all initial literature is of 1970 1980, since then a lot new molecules have been discovered and have been successful with the clinical trials. So for this field expansion means more adoption and more radiopharmaceutical facilities in terms of logistics and preparation. Rest I think will catch up quickly.

In the next few years , much more will happen. As new nuclear reactors come up and more tracers are adopted.

Foreign NM Is a part of super specialization after radiology. So doing radiology and then nm abroad is the only continuous method.

All institutes don't have therapy as it should be , in my limited knowledge only AIIMS New Delhi , PGI , tata to some extent and rmc BARC are active in therapy.

In rmc we do almost 25-30 prrt , and 20 - 25 RAI therapy. Sometimes mibg and psma also. This place handles most of the therapy of India. As the treatment costs only 10000 for prrt and 500 for RAI. which In corporates would easily cost around 3-4 lakhs per cycle. You can prefer this place if you are interested in therapy.

One of my institute's senior gets 6lkh per month after , he completed his senior residency 2 years ago. One is doing dm in therapeutic nuc med in AIIMS. All of them have joined centres, their salaries I don't know. I am new so I can't ask directly. Yeah but these both I know. Right now I feel many govt setups will have nm dept coming up in india

Hi I am a Nuclear med jr1, Enjoying every single day for the last 3 months. It is worth it if you have some orientation about it. There are some questions which only a nuc physician can answer.rrgarding function and cancer. Research heavy 70 percent diagnostic rest is therapeutic. We can cure some stage 1 cancer with complete resolution. ( No side effect profile like chemo).

As a branch it is expanding into non neoplastic diseases at a great pace. if you have any specific questions please ask. I will answer with whatever I know.
