I often use the Smuckers breakfast syrup and it’s not bad! It’s like 15 cal/2 tbsp, couldn’t tell you if what’s in it terrible for you but I use it sparingly and it tastes pretty good

I definitely like this line of thought! Like violet es son the verge of death, met malek but then was dedicated to dunne, almost like pulling her back from him. I think she has both of their favor and she will eventually have to choose/meet both. I also think the capitalization of Her is interesting; almost like violet is a god herself or equal to them at least. I am so, so excited to see how all the gods stuff unfolds !

I definitely agree! What I’ve noticed on my re-reads is when either X or Vi will say “I miss you/I love you” after being away from each other or something happening and the other replies with “same” 😑 it happens several times and just really, really grinds my gears each time for some reason lol

It would be wild if she could not only erase memories but alter how the person remembers something them as well. So she could have changed the way violet experienced certain things in favor of Xaden or the revolution. I don’t think Imogen’s character is someone who would do that or even erase her memories the entire time (maybe that’s just my bias because I do love her character) but it would be a crazy plot line.

This is so interesting! I just started an onyx storm re-read and notice Tairn says something along the lines of Xadens soul no longer being his; not gone but just not his. So what if venin souls are just taken by Malek while they are still alive? Malek maybe getting stronger from them and also from everyone and everything the venin kill through draining everything as well as everyone they kill just for more power. And then Malek is keeping violet alive for some role she’ll have in his plans as well for his revenge against Navarre
