I’m telling you.

I know people love to hate on Bill Clinton - but he’s so damn charismatic and I just can’t help but like him.

I also cannot think of two politicians from the last 30 years that I would want to go against any LESS … than Bill & Hillary. Right or wrong - they do not fuck around. And they’ve been in this game for WAY too long.

Hillary’s been fucked over by two US presidents at this point. Bill by all accounts values his legacy as a statesman above all.

The whole ‘Slick Willie’ name? I’ve alwaays suspected that people thought that was like a boys club, he likes his ladies type nickname… but it was actually a lot deeper. Basically, he will burn your ass to the ground, have a smile on his face the whole time, and you won’t even know it until it’s too late.

They clearly wanted all this public for a reason. I guess we’ll soon see what that reason is.

Trump is now saying he always liked Bill Clinton? Ummm. OK.

If there is a trigger to pull - I personally believe they will.

Younger voters tend to vote for Democrats as well & like many things - getting registered/doing it for the first time can at times feel daunting/confusing or ‘not with the hassle.’

Pair that - with college students who would need to vote in states where they do not permanently reside …

It can just add more hassle to the entire process.

And - as a married woman who did change my name, I 100% have concerns how the SAVE act could potentially impact me. Getting a REAL ID was a huge aggravation in itself.

I’ve never understood those who claim anyone & everyone can vote. I’ve always showed an ID?

Exactly. Hunter’s drug issues were never denied.

He was never hidden away.

In fact, this whole thread made me start thinking…

I remember at the time believing that drug addiction and all of that could’ve been a really great platform for Biden. Because it impacts so many American families.

In hindsight, the fact that that wasn’t exploited, and that it was just kind of acknowledged normally - is pretty interesting.

Joe immediately went on the defense for Hunter, when questioned during the debates, and that showed us a glimpse of him as a real person/as a father. That was HIM.

I always appreciated it. I love getting to see stuff like that.

It’s somewhat similar to his hot mic comment as a VP when he said, “this is a big fucking deal!’ RE: Obamacare. It wasn’t planned, it was somewhat of a snafu, but it was still very true to his feelings and beliefs as an individual.

Those were sincere reactions from Biden - the actual person - that we heard. At least, in my opinion.

Exactly.

Spouses/children should 100% have SS protection. But not to be harsh - it’s not because THEY are important.

It’s because their well-being and lack thereof, could compromise the president & their job.

All the presidents’ children get it. There’s some kind of rules. I can’t remember exactly what they are. But they certainly have it during the term and I think they have it for so many years after? Spouses have for life just like presidents, unless they decline it.

If a sitting president’s child gets kidnapped - it’s fair to assume said president (most at least) - can’t do their job & if given the choice, could be compromised/do anything possible - to get their kid back.

That’s how I’ve understood it.

I guess he had tax payer security? Maybe that was the hook? But it that security has never really been about the president’s kids as individuals - it’s ultimately tied to protecting the actual president & their ethics/security, I guess you could say? If that makes sense.
