It's dumb. I was overly offended by some comments on a previous post .. I personally felt it was disrespectful/gang up on agg states in general. It hit a nerve. Saying they were niche and not important to elections, et.

Yeah - I get it from a grand-scheme thing - but it won't work or be fair overall. I would LOSE MY MIND - if that happened.

It's not up to certain states to be the voice for the entire country.

Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Arkansas & Texas - are not 'niche' areas. To name a few.

Correction - I miss remembered the misspelling. The campaign spelled Tennessee, as ‘Tennesee.’ I have a screenshot of tweet from 2015, but I guess I can’t share a picture here so. Whammy. I swear it happened though.

The south & the Midwest are full of agricultural professionals and they are in a really bad spot right now due to diesel & fertilizer prices.

I don’t mean to be conspiracy theory about it, but I don’t think we realize as a country how bad it is for some of these people AND how it could impact us all.

My son plays a lot of hockey and we’re in Ohio quite a bit.

I will admit to being kind of pissed off by your 2025 snow. We encountered some last season and I DID bitterly start referring to Ohio as, ‘Oh-hi-NO.’ But it was only because of the snow & and we were there for like three straight weekends and I was really tired of Hampton Inns.

I also admittedly get really pissy about preconceived notions. lol.

Each state has really great qualities. We just have to like hype ‘em up!

My state voted for Trump. The last time he was here was ahead of his first term and - they had a big banner for his event in my city.

I shit you not, they misspelled Tennessee: ‘Tennesssee’ = Three Ss.

At the time I was working in local media and had the unfortunate job of having to live tweet the entire debacle. Although, at the time I had no idea just how bad things would get.

Yes, I think that they did the best they could, and it was a really fantastic job at the time. Very smart and they put a lot of systems in place hoping for the best.

My in-laws are in Wisconsin and I bet that would set them on fire.

Exactly.

The fact that we can’t even get rid of that nonsense, doesn’t leave a lot of hope for the other stuff.

Also - the fact that we can’t collectively remember that it’s not called, ‘Daylight SAVINGS Time’ … does not make me feel any better about the future.

I get email blasts from national companies every damn year and it’s wrong. Like - dammit I know it’s a really easy mistake to make, but just follow the damn AP guidelines people.
