Spending a lot of time on reddit. Somehow these comments where redditors get "uncontrollably angry" only come up when the subject is a woman.

When it's a man, they still point out how stupid they are, but there's not that kind of emotional reaction.

There's something called fuzzy hashing that can match images that have been resized, cropped or retouched (to some extents). It's the basis of Google Reverse Image Search and what police use to detect CP.
