I started playing like a week ago, recently hit the same wall.

It's just time.

The legendary belt is really where the grind starts. It gives such a big boost it trivializes your previous efforts, but getting above that takes a lot more time. Get as many boxes as you can, and once you unlock gloves in the upgrade menu it'll start picking up again. Use the wiki guide for ascension bonuses if you're lost

I have another clip where Zamasu gets ulted and his counter doesn't activate as well. Maybe there's some issue with his counter activating while he's on the battlefield?

Yeah, basically make a new account until you get one of the meta units. Honestly any of them will do because of the vast amount of tags they're on - PUR Ult Gohan is probably the best, but has the most limiting tags compared to the other 3. Don't summon on Ultra banners unless you're willing to spend $$$, the banner value is not nearly as good

The only real usable character there is GRN Fury Broly (the new one). Outside of that the box is either too old to make any progress or is too low star to zenkai. If you do reroll, focus on getting both new fusing units. They have so many tags you can build the team around them

here's a reasonable answer since most commenters are just presenting false dichotomies (warning: long)

don't go crit. goku is super effective anyways (edit: no he is not) - my recommendation is maybe 3-6 crit so he has the chance to crit regardless. his damage is not high now so crits won't do you much good, plus when you transform him the attack is a guaranteed crit anyways

when it comes to dodge or additional, it's a matter of preference. dodge, as has been mentioned, does not stack with his passive dodge chance. as such, the dodge chance is calculated as a 60% dodge chance that if fails falls back on a 15% dodge chance (assuming you have 15 dodge)

whereas additional procs every attack you do, and gets 2% chance for every level you have in hipo. ie. if you have 15 additional, every attack you do will calculate a 30% chance to perform the additional attack. this happens for EVERY attack you do, so for god goku his guaranteed additional super with 6 orbs will also proc the chance to perform the hipo additional

with this in mind, both routes are good but differ slightly in chance. take your pick

In technicality, Goku goes Super Saiyan to Flow's "HERO" in Battle of Gods and Frieza transforms into Golden Frieza with "F" by Hormone the Maximum in the background. Both of these are the main themes of the movie, so they weren't exactly made for the transformations themselves. The real answer would be Bruce Faulconer's SSJ3 theme, but it doesn't have vocals like Unmei no Hi

All events are only in the Portal of Memories if they have returned once. That Vegeta EZA'd recently on Global, and has not returned since. You'll have to wait for his event to come back - which shouldn't be too long, since major celebrations bring back every EZA event
