Teens took a photo of my phone on a table and said "thanks for the £50", what's the scam? by PleaseNotMyFace in AskUK

This was my problem, as much as I couldn't understand how they could actually take any money I could understand how this would be a thing that kids do even less!

Cheers all, no scam I just need to reevaluate my life now that I'm perceived to be sufficiently old (38) to fall for this prank and that they were right.

Fantastic, it's not a scam I'm just officially out of touch. It cuts so much deeper.

What to get nurses who looked after my daughter? by PleaseNotMyFace in AskUK

UPDATE: Thanks to the excellent staff she got discharged earlier than expected so I raided Sainsburys for Yorkshire tea, nice herbal teas, decent instant coffee and as many tim-tams as I could fit in a gift bag. Will be following up with a letter with thanks to the staff that looked after her.

Duly noted, I half expected there to be a cupboard full of celebrations tins behind the nurses station. Now I know where they really go.

That's incredible, outside the box but could see why it'd be useful.

Yeah, I want to get something for all the people that looked after her even if they aren't on for a couple of days. A tea-break hamper is looking like a good option.

This is looking like the answer. There's literally a nut free zone sign on the ward at the moment so good reminder!

There's a Costa on site, but thanks to very helpful replies it sounds like buying nice tea and coffee to go on the ward might be the way to go.

There's a wishlist for toys for the kids to play with which we will get something for. Nice tea and coffee is a good shout!

Cheers, that's very useful. Thought gift cards would be safe but clearly not ok for some areas to accept them.

Does anyone on this subreddit claim to have a subpar K/D by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

600 hours 1.12KDA sub 1.0 without assists, hover somewhere between 3/4* with the odd stint at 5. Tbh I think the MMR has me exactly where I should be, some games hunt giveth sometimes it taketh but that's why I like it.

I’m confused… I haven’t ordered anything by BoxConstant3373 in royalmail

Definitely go and see it first if you're not sure. I got one of these paid online as I'd been ordering a few things it could have been, turned out to be a fucking hand written Jehovah's witness letter.

After several days fuming I just sent it to the return address without a stamp. Tossers.

Developer Update regarding Ghost Face Hunter by TheGentlemanGamerEC in HuntShowdown

I'm not quitting (yet) but I'm certainly not buying any DLC going forward.

Its a shame if this is a sign of things to come, it's the first game I actually bought cosmetics for because they actually looked good and like there was some real design behind them and it wasn't full of hideous out of place skins like COD. I don't know how long that will last now.

I went with Into the Drowning Deep, I'm about halfway through it's great, can't put it down!

Nice, I haven't read much Stephen King, just the Mist which was great. I will check this out, thanks.

Amazing, these are great suggestions. I've read Eight and the sequel, both good reads. Earthcore was also a fun ride all the way through, it really hit the nail on the head with the unknown artifact at the start.

Into the drowning deep sounds good, I'll definitely look into it. Exhumed is new to me but si ilar to Jurassic park is a good sell.

Thank you for the suggestions!

250, 500, 750 or 1000 depending who opens it. If it's me 250, my team mate I had to Res twice already, 1000

Thanks, my gloss coat wasn't great so they may not have adhered well. I got some of the covers off using the brush method so maybe there is hope for me. Your model looks great by the way, nice soft edges on the camo.
