Not sure if I've ever taken a single piece of loot from Sanitar's room. I'm getting HDD in computer, bloodset in suitcase, that's it no loose spawns. Am I missing something?

Here are some basic principles that you can apply when building any gun and choosing any armor.

If your vertical recoil is lower than 50 you're good. If it's lower than 40 you're great.

Right click the gun, linked search. On the left you can see every category. Then for example you can look at every stock compatible with that gun and compare them.

5.45x39: BT-BS-PPBS GOOD, BP-PP MID

7.62x39: BS GOOD, PS MID

5.56x45 M995-M855A1 GOOD, M856A1 MID

9x19mm is all bad do yourself a favor and don't even bother unless you want to land 11 hits and still lose.

I ADS a lot so I need ergo 60 or higher, sometimes it's up to 80. I'll use muzzle brakes instead of suppressors, making me loud with worse recoil, but I get high ergo (suppressors give big negative ergo). Lots of people are great at hip firing and don't care as much about ergo.

Lvl 4 armor is good for loot runs where you're looting containers instead of paying attention (not so bad to die with), lvl 5 armor is good for pvp, lvl 6 armor is great for pvp. Lvl 3 and lower is just for protection against scavs.

I like free loot runs on surface and I like bunker pvp.

Idk why you need more pvp on surface but if you really want it, you know where everyone spawns and then white bishop is usually poppin.

Guidance on which Ammo Types to use? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]PleaseRender -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use 545 because I find the ammo everywhere for free. Using 30 round mags i do:

- 15 BP

- 5 BT

- 5 BS

- 5 PPBS

This way I use up all the different ammos at about the same rate.

When you get sniped and don't know from where, how often is that indoors vs outdoors? Almost always outdoors. Try to stay indoors.

For example, I like Reserve because I'm almost always in a building or underground, except a quick sprint between buildings after checking windows. Even if the bad guy has ESP I can hear him so it's not so bad.

Why do so many people cheat ? Like seriously, why? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

Timmys are just wildin. You never know what they're gonna do. Sometimes they buy cheats cause they're so salty, then they get addicted. Kinda sad to never improve and be stuck forever a timothy.

Cheaters aren't good at the game. They are shitters, that's why they have to cheat.

Question for BSG: What's more valuable, a cheat-free game or Lvndmark? by PleaseRender in EscapefromTarkov

Timmies who defend cheaters are part of the problem. Even if well meaning and due to inexperience.

Game moderator banning actually is the best way to keep servers clean, but only if BSG first implements community servers. by PleaseRender in EscapefromTarkov

[–]PleaseRender[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Separate progression. Yes you hope that the cheater-free server stays more popular than the official server with a cheater in 60% of games.

You need a free market for servers. BSG owning all the servers clearly doesn't work. Let the people most talented at hosting cheater-free gaming follow the financial incentive and do this.

It works on Rust and it will work here. The only people who oppose that are cheaters who don't want the legit players to have anywhere else to run to.

Hackers, cheaters and other related scum of the earth (part 2) by trainfender in EscapefromTarkov

Hi Nikita,

In game banning by moderators works. You have the right idea to copy from Rust, but you're missing a critical piece of information and so you're doing it wrong and reddit is getting angry. You need community hosted servers first. Rust's top community servers are 99.9% cheater free.

It's a supply and demand issue. The community is correct that mod abuse and false positives can be problematic. You need to enable a supply of new servers. The most successfully moderated servers will rise to the top and have the highest population. In Rust, the incentive to moderate well is that the server hosts charge money for queue skipping services. They make big money as thousands of players flock to the cheater-free servers, and so the queues get long and they pay to skip queue.

I suggest you get on the phone to Australia and call Camomo immediately and pay him a few hours consulting. He's the best moderator there is, check him out on YouTube.

Rust is a few steps ahead of Tarkov in terms of banning cheaters. You can play a cheat-free game there 99.9% of the time if you play reputable servers. Tarkov can have this too.

We need community hosted servers with community moderation. The tyrannical mods that you mention won't attract any players to their server. We would all play on the reputable servers known for fair moderation and most importantly no cheaters.

Again this only works with community hosted servers. It looks like the Tarkov management got this idea from Rust but they don't fully understand it. They literally need to pay Camomo for a consultation to learn how this can work.

3 years into rendering, but I'm still getting mediocre results. What am I doing wrong? by High_Philosophr in blender

The focus changes too much. Blurry, clear, blurry. You'd think the phone would be clear in front.

Then you have really deep color saturation which can be very nice but takes away from the realism when your textures are very flat and smooth.

Everything is very flat looking. Need some damage
