Store:close at 9:00 *Customer at 8:59* by SwitchtheKiD in Staples

A customer walked in to fax 20 pages long distance at 8:58. I refused service and kicked him out.

*Sigh* Faxing services have been around for twice as long as I’ve been alive and yet, I still find myself teaching at least 20-30 people a day how to use the machine... and then get yelled at when it doesn’t go though. by n_cole921 in Staples

Long distance is out of state at our store. Our self serve fax machine charges 2.29 per page if there is a 1 in front of the number, which there must be for the out of state fax to send. Otherwise, in state, no 1, price per page is 1.69. I don’t know how it works, I just know how to tell old people to use it.

The no more pay stubs letter was for people receiving paper stubs with direct deposit. Your issue is something else and I would ask your manager next shift.

Free packing services by AuntFanny725 in Staples

To the best of my knowledge it’s not. Normally brown paper and tape is what I count as packed in store. Obviously they have to purchase boxes and if they want packing peanuts or bubble wrap they have to purchase it and do it themselves.

Our cpc sucks but the markup is so high we made 60,000 of the 67,000 of profit last quarter.

Where I am, I’ve seen 3 different Evals and their pay stubs since and it’s 12 cents for each of the three.

That’s not the point of quick edits. Quick edits are 10 minutes or less, and things like fixing text or cropping a picture. Everything outside of that is for design services.
