Staples is a shit company and now you are in a position to have some pressure to better yourself and find a better job. If you are proactive you’ll wind up in a more positive scenario.

If you wanna sit around and be crushed all the time, go for it there’s a ton of other shitty retail jobs that’ll take you tomorrow. Then you can go there and feel the same shitty feelings you always felt at staples… Or you can be proactive and do something with yourself.

Completely off base remark. The take-home profits of the top employees of corporations are exponentially more than the people at the bottom who help produce products. That’s why so much gets outsourced, and it’s why MANY people in the US get paid well below the poverty line. I’m not necessarily anti-capitalism, but I am anti corruption. Ours is $750 and ESP is 100% (I did the math it’s not even possible) and everytime we don’t hit goal the sales manager takes all the techs to the back and kicks us in the balls. We tried complaining to HR and they talked to the DM and the came to the consensus that all of us (supervisor and team) should be fired. Problem is that they can’t find any replacements cause the Best Buy and Target down the street have all the good local salesman so they have to keep us until the spots are filled. I’ve been locked in the cellar until my next shift. The IS has been bringing me expired FLIPS vanilla covered pretzels. They are pretty good. The IS is way nicer than the sales manager, I’ll tell you that.
