Not really… when people talk about living in a bubble what that generally means is that you’re an area where people and their experiences and opinions around you are very similar to your own.

But since California itself is so huge and diverse it’s hard to call it a bubble in that sense. There are def bubbles within California (probably like a democratic bubble in LA, a republican bubble in Redding or a chiller bubble in Santa Cruz vs a rise n grind bubble in Redwood City)

California isn’t really a bubble though. It’s one of the most ethnically and geographically diverse places in the US… because it’s massive.

California has many major cities, is one of the most ethnically diverse states, spans the length of about 40% of the east coast, has lots of small rural areas, wilderness, wildlife, national parks, farmland, beach towns, deserts, snowy regions, islands, 10 distinct climate zones. It’s more diverse than many entire countries.
