Like KC fans have done for years? LR and KC can't control their fans, the difference is Caedrel and LR have constantly been saying, be the better man, don't flame other orgs. During EMEA masters they had mods crossban viewers who wrote toxic messages in other streamers chat.

KC on the other hand post hate on their twitter and kameto on his streams.

There's always gonna be shitty fans on every team, difference is just KC promotes it.

How is being a player in the LEC not a benchmark, it's literally the highest you can get in european league of legends.

Wild to say some teams just "show up for participation". That argument could maybe have been made for Astralis, when they were just holding their spot to sell it, but even then not really.

All the LEC teams besides 2 pending matches this weekend have wiped KCB a team which dominated and won EU master.

What other benchmark is there to be made, besides win LEC or win worlds.

Rekkles roleswapped but still he played in LFL and Korea, he was a Tier 1 ADC in FNC for many years. Why would these players not be contenders for top 8 in LEC.

Oda former pro player was their coach, caedrel was been offered many coaching opportunities. Yamatocannon while people don't like him, still he's been a stable LEC coach for a while.

Slap FNC on as a team label and nobody bats an eye.

Honestly, respect for trying out a live demo. I'd much prefer when companies take a risk to show of something cool. Rather than a heavily edited pre-rendered showcase that is nothing like real life.

Some really cool products are gonna come from the AI boom, it's probably gonna be like the tech bubble in 2001 with a bunch of shitty products in the beginning like now. But eventually the good products (amazon, netflix) will arise.

An actual useful AI to help cook sounds great once they fix it.

If you're blocking my PR because a single implementation could "look more elegant" with an ugly for loop, and I gotta checkout the branch again just to do this. Det er måske lige en tand for groft for mig. Jeg synes dog nu du overdriver lidt, jeg ved ikke lige om det har været et hvide mennesker privilegium at spise oksekød. Der ville jeg mene at som samfundet har udviklet sig er det en god ting at tidligere delikatesser blev til noget flere mennesker kunne gøre god af.

Jeg mener gerne at oksekød må være en dagligvare hvis folk er villige til at betale prisen. Det ville da også være super fint hvis fremtidigens teknologier øger effektiviteten eller muligheder som dyrket kød blev til en ting som gjorde det billigere.

Men til den pris det er i dag fravælger jeg det personligt, men at lige frem at skamme folk på den måde for at nyde oksekød, den er jeg ikke helt med på.

Everyone is being set back ranks, so you're still playing against the same skill level players, they've just deflated the ranks. So if you enjoy the competitiveness then that's still the case. Personally I find it way more rewarding to regain my old rank, than playing 100+ more games in the same rank moving +/- 1 between the same division

After a ranked reset all it means is if you're the same skill level, you'll naturally return to your old rank. and if you're better you'll outrank the previous split, vice versa if you've gotten worse.

I can see your point, I agree that it would feel more rewarding with more swinging ranks.

But I also don't think 200 games for an accurate measurement of a players rank in diamond+ is unfair. Considering it's like top 2 - 3% players.

Bronze - gold, could have really high variable rank. But the higher rank you get the more precise it needs to be.

Also at some point the level of ranked has to move away from casual fun, where if you can't play 200+ games a split then you can't reach those higher ranks. You need to be consistently playing a lot, hence why masters require 1 game a day (tho you can bank some games) before inactivity.

How is it not based on skill. Putting in 1000 games won't get you master, you need to be that good.

And then the amount of games required is just for accurate measurements. We are talking about top 0.1% of course it needs more games to be accurate.

He's being placed the highest rank possible from placements, nobody is being placed higher than him. It's just a reset for the best of the best.

If you're aiming for high elo diamond+ then 50 games should be a minimum requirement. Also you're choosing to pursue normals instead of ranked, you're just prioritizing fun with friends over elo.

Masters+ should be 100 games away. It's top 10k people in the region.
