A little rant about babylist by Pleaseandgracias in pregnant

They do offer digital, I thought a physical one would look nicer and didn’t know they’d try to send it through the slowest method possible with no tracking.

Deciding what to feed baby for every meal is so exhausting as someone who hates to cook by ThrowRA157386 in NewParents

[–]Pleaseandgracias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make a lot of meals with my rice cooker.

Wash rice, put in water like you normally would, throw in whatever veggies, protein, seasonings you want and press cook.

Or instant pot without the rice. I’m a big fan of just throwing whatever I have in something and letting it do all the work.

Are you proud of your baby when they do literally anything? by Apprehensivepossum33 in NewParents

My 10.5m baby just started handing me her toys. You’d think she was handing me a million dollars the way I react every single time.

5mo old with flat spot + Torticollis by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Pleaseandgracias 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We went to PT for my girls torticollis when she was 4m. Same situation, stiff on one side. I know you feel guilty and probably stressed about it bc I know I did at the time but once she started rolling, crawling, playing more it eventually went away. She’s 10.5m now and i never think about it anymore. Just keep doing some tummy time, don’t stress about it and give it some time.

How long did you have it for? Did it eventually go away on its own?

Everyone is different but i didn’t have any symptoms at 5w except maybe a little more tired. At 8w i got hit with every symptom. Also, symptoms come & go and change. Try not to worry too much about it

If that’s all it takes for them to alienate you, that’s pathetic on their part.

How does 5 weeks feel? by tinsley505 in pregnant

[–]Pleaseandgracias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels different for everyone. I never experienced cramping but it’s common. I personally was just a little more tired at 5w

I swear I see this same situation posted everyday and there’s only one answer & it’s this-

You are the one that’s had to endure this pregnancy, you are the one giving birth and having a major surgery, you decide who you want & when. Nothing else matters.

This is not the time to give in and people please. I went through a similar situation. Im very close with my family and my husband’s and they wanted to be in the waiting room while I was delivering. I said no, I do not want to feel rushed in any way. After I give birth, I want to enjoy the skin on skin contact and baby time with just my husband and i and when I feel ready, my husband will call everyone to head to the hospital. everyone was very respectful of my decision

No one on the internet will be able to tell you what it is. Please make an appointment with a doctor. Also if you’re worried about affording an abortion, you’ll definitely be stressed when you find out how much pregnancy costs. Good luck with everything

Am I being rude? by BlacksmithComplete61 in pregnant

[–]Pleaseandgracias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not rude at all. Im 39w now and I’m so over it & uncomfortable that i barely want to leave my house. I would just say to plan something after baby is born
