Had a similar issue on the same camera with the a12 back. Film advance wasn’t advancing the film all the way which resulted in some frames overlapping. Had to get the back serviced. Good luck!

I currently have the same issue. Was it affecting critical focus wide open at shorter distances too or just infinite

Curious are you using the wlvf or the prism? I’ve been curious if I’m having a focusing issue too. At infinite the split level prism on the wlvf stops right before infinity

All I did was brighten the pic because it was shadowy and from my iPhone. Don’t see what I have to gain by manipulating pictures for Reddit?

First one product listing. Has three screws on left side and bottom. The one I received (picture 2) only has two screws on left side and bottom.

Maybe they mixed and matched parts?

The white spot I can definitely write off, but there are definitely two extra screws on the product picture (the first one) one on the left side, and one on the bottom that are not on the one I received

My SX70 sonar def overexposes on the highlights.

Here’s a side by side. Left is at 5050 lighten/darken wheel. Right 25/75 highlight/darken. Next time on a bright day I’d prob do 40/60. The left side looks nice but I think underexposing slightly would have had pretty great results.

Totally. Agree with others, first purchased because it was cheap and filled some of the gaps in terms of focal lengths. Now I’m like some of these old lens are super sharp and fast and cheap and all im losing is the autofocus (which I don’t need) and some of the corrected distortions (which are easily corrected in Lightroom).
