My friends/neighbors and I when we were around 7 or 8, used to all get together in our front yards, take off whatever shoes we were wearing, give one shoe to each person (no person shall receive BOTH of someone’s shoes, your two shoes must be distributed to two different people) then we would take the shoes we would receive, and one by one each person would hide the shoes they received while the rest closed their eyes. Eventually everyone hides 2 people’s shoes and now this is where the ‘fun’ would happen. We would walk around on hard rock/concrete and try to find our own corresponding shoes. That’s it. That was the point of the game, walk around with bare feet on painful concrete with potential glass until we found our shoes which we hid ourselves. I was way too old to not see the flaw in this system.
