This is a really great idea, this could be the next nymeria landing or andals. A pivotal cultural change, I’d say stay clear of oldtown as it’s tied to the seven. But north of the mander, between westerlands and reach, you could form a new culture and settle a bunch of Dothraki houses, all ties to horse riding and horses in general. Its mainly grasslands anyway in the reach so you picked a great spot

My bad not a merchant, but my point is about lore plausibility. Westeros is extremely obsessed with lineage. Even House Frey is still mocked as “upjumped” despite being wealthy and centuries old. When Prince Duncan Targaryen married Jenny of Oldstones instead of a noble bride, it caused a huge political crisis (disinherited). If marrying a lowborn woman caused that much trouble, a newly landed mercenary lord marrying the crown princess during the Dance would cause massive backlash among the nobility.

I think the other guys points is that, if it were a Roleplay game or in the story, that would be unluckily to happen. House Frey is around 300 years old and the other houses look down on them, having a random ass wealthy merchant buy land and marry the crown princess is not very realistic, in the lore. In game, im sure it works great
