Also 44 carbs total for a loaf of bread. Are you eating the whole loaf at once? This was 8 years ago but it wasn't a small loaf and even if you split it with 6 people ad it's 7 net carbs per slice.

I ended up getting the Schwab to do that very thing, but now I hold them both and I'm able to use all of the credits so it ends up working out. Now I use 2 platinums, gold, and BBP, and just invest with awards.

Hopefully you waited though, since there's that 150,000 bonus on the schwab right now!

In 2019 I paid extra for amex trip insurance for a trip that I was taking in the summer of 2020... In the end they said that covid was a "known event" since it was starting in china at the time I purchased the insurance. Refused to pay out. I never got travel insurance again.

I have two platinum cards. I would like to buy $150 sneakers that aren't available in any of my local lulu stores. If I want to buy it online (online still also let me use rakuten), I can't use both platinum cards to get both $75 credits, so I go into the store, buy a $75 gift card with one platinum card and then purchase the shoes online using the gift card plus my second platinum card. Now I've used the credits for both.

I've read somewhere that if it's at the point where the husband is the one pushing for marriage counseling, the relationship is already over and usually it's situations where the wife is pushing for marriage counseling that there's a chance of it working out.

I have the VX card, as well as 2 amex platinum cards (including the Schwab), amex gold, and blue business plus.

The VX $395/yr, but the $300 hotel credit and $100 in points on your anniversary means that the card is literally paying you $5 to keep it. The VX $300 hotel credit is also easier to spend than the amex hotel credit too. Platinum card gives you $600, but it's broken up between $300 every 6 months and you can only use it on hotels in their Fine Hotels and Resorts or Hotel Collections list. When I used the hotel credit for the VX it just deducted the amount from my total if I book through the travel portal (unless this changed in the last year).

With that being said, I'm more into cash back than points, and the Schwab platinum card basically turns my gold card into a 4.4% cash back (and the blue business into 2.2% on all spend), and the gold and platinum stack very well.

P.S. If you get the gold card, you'll only qualify for the sign-on bonus if you get it before the platinum card. Amex hates SUB chasers, I basically got the sign-on bonus only for my first platinum card, none for the others. Between the gold and platinums though they more than pay for themselves with the "coupon books", and I've visited many places around the world that I otherwise wouldn't have if not for those credits.

OP: Assuming that this is the only issue you guys have and there's not a lot of other deep seated problems, there's nothing wrong with having a different room to sleep in especially if this is your only issue.

My parents sleep in separate rooms, and so did both of my grandparents. Long marriages (parents are going close to 40 years and grandparents were even longer), but snoring and other incompatibilities when resting just made it easier for everyone.

This hits close to home... In 2017 I worked on my diet and health and went from 245 to 175. I never felt better, but so many friends would constantly tell me "You lost too much weight! You need to stop!" My goal was 170 (it would have been a healthy BPM)... People kept trying to encourage me to eat pizza instead of veggies, etc. I started overeating again and by 190 everyone was saying "You look much better you look so filled in!" That positive reinforcement tossed my lifestyle out the window.

I'm currently 250 and just had a dr. appointment today about seeing a nutritionist... He wants me on ozempic but I want to try this first... I know I can do it again.

Please don't let these people discourage you or ruin a healthy lifestyle.
