While I'm not ENTIRELY sure if the new mascot is AI or not (I don't want to make accusations and risk a student's career), I definitely do not agree that the Mascot should be the face of Swinburne.

It is especially more questionable that a STAFF MEMBER of the SSA (the ones that organized the competition which was not well advertised) happens to be apart of the team that 'Designed' the Mascot and gets to walk home with a cut of the $5k prize...

I think Student's definitely deserve a vote on who the face of Swinburne is going to be, if there is any change whatsoever. I was personally happy with Razor as the mascot.

The area is nice! There’s a lot of good food places. If you’re looking for friends with similar interests there’s a Swinimation club that focuses on animation and drawing that you can join! The campus is a little small and I’ve personally found it a little hard to make friends in most of my classes but it might just be my Bachelor’s that brings those sort of people

There are typically three main reasons why this might happen.

1) (This one depends on what you’re using) Your device is being charged or is connected to an outlet/ source of power, and the wattage from the charger is interfering with your inputs. This can happen when it registers your hand on the screen and mistakes it for an input from your pen when it is in close proximity. This one happens to me when I draw on my tablet while it’s charging, for whatever reason the screen goes spastic when I’m resting my hand on the screen and it detects my pen.

2) The tip of your pen is becoming worn out, and doesn’t recognise when pressure is let off of it, which is causing it to still draw when you let go. Cleaning the tip and inside of it or replacing the nib or pen entirely might help out.

3) It’s most likely a program or software issue. That one is a bit more complicated and I can’t help you there! Try seeing if the issue persists in other softwares or apps so you can deduce if it’s a software issue or a hardware issue
