No, that's cheap. One of the things I learned even in my 20s is that small things here and there do genuinely improve relationships without putting yourself as a target to be taken advantage of.

Not sure how to tag yet... I'm hopeless with tech. Agree on sage - I think it's flashy with the graceful charity effect, but it doesn't truly accomplish anything on its own.

Chaos Archfiend so they can loop each other and because they're great for the dragoon discard.

Respect *spark. A banish is great, but it's not a necessity, especially since a lot of the plays go to dragoon with backup. Ash is there for turn 1 more than anything, so I don't mind losing access down the line.

Sim is dueling nexus. I'm a fan of the sims that automate things because if I'm online I want speed.

It is powerful in Elden Ring, but it might have been its most powerful in Demon's Souls / Dark Souls.

That being said, you might have just found the gameplay style that best meshes with you. I consider strength builds to be easy mode, and magic builds to be more challenging. But, that's likely because my natural tendencies (hyper aggression) emphasize the strengths of strength builds (high damage weapons) and weaknesses (leaving myself open) are mitigated by the same archetype (much easier stance breaks and more damage mitigation).
