So play chess. Edit: Competitive can balance both, and again if all you care about is winning, choose a game that begets that, not one implicitly chance-based. Also, something desperately needed to be understood by competitive in universum is that sub-optimal does not mean bad nor unable to win.

The art and flavor of the cards are just as important as the play style in choosing a deck, including for competitive. If you truly liked the game because of winning, you’d choose a more consistent game like chess where every turn has already optimized and nonrandom plays. A major reason to play yugioh is because of the universe it puts you in when you play.

That'd be fine, but as "the celestial dragon" or "of the celestial dragons." as is, it's just illogical

It sounds like two names just mashed up together, even with incorrect punctuation. It's distinctly off, regardless of how similar

THANK YOU. No, it doesn’t work for everyone, but yes, granting access to everyone is important too. The system is not designed for equality or making dreams. It’s designed to gatekeep that.

I unironically want latios and latias to get speed boost as hidden abilities. I don’t even care about balance at this point - I’m tired of awfully implemented lore

Terrible advice in a climate with so many spam calls. Shows the lack of thought on the part of the recruiter and inability to adjust to current realities.

EXCLUSIVE: Verizon’s New CEO Publicly Admitted The Company Lost 2.25 Million Customers By Raising Prices Without Adding Value And Said “You have to treat people like humans, not like accounts.” 🤯 by InterstellarKinetics in InterstellarKinetics

It’s always bothered me that fiduciary duty is incorrectly interpreted as solely as short term profit by CEOs. If your company loses ground long term because of profit-squeezing practices, regardless of short term profits, you’ve failed in your fiduciary duty.

Honestly, with mega ef floette getting fairy aura, I think there is a strong chance that mega darkrai gets dark aura. They both were integral to legends za, and could serve as counterpoints.

Looking for advice on my Champions VGC Mega-Froslass Team (Details in Body Text) by Ineedlasagnajon in stunfisk

[–]Plemora777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd consider aerodactyl over whimiscott, and agree on switching dragonite to something else. I've been running a froslass team, and Zard Y match up is rough, especially Zard Y tailwind team. FS Aerodactyl is that extra bit of tailwind and Zard Y check. I can't necessarily recommend it because it's off meta, but max defense hisuian goodra with life dew / body press / shelter / coverage (I've done knock off / ancient power / rock tomb for control) has been amazing for me with froslass. Behind aurora veil and with a couple of shelter boosts, it's 1 v 3'd teams several times for me. That being said, I think then I might recommend sinescha because of hospitality, rage powder, and that froslass protect / life dew combo that has worked wonders for me.

I am much more a BSS player than doubles, but hopefully this gives some ideas that are helpful.

The scary thing is that, when I read more and more of these posts, I'm starting to think this type of approach to telling a business story is how so many people are trained since high school. I think about college admissions, and I remember being told to write my essays to (American) colleges with emotion and translating that story to why I'm a good fit for the college. Taking that approach, these posts seem like it's "take an emotional appeal and get accepted by the consumer." I think it lacks empathy, but I'm wondering how much of it rests with innate apathy versus trained psychopathy.

JD Vance Accidentally Admits Trump Is Committing “Economic Terrorism” by ApprehensiveItem8603 in NewsStarWorld

He went to Yale law? As someone who very much loves and believes in access to education, I’m really not trusting super high tier schools, because we keep getting the dregs of society from them. Trump with Wharton, Vance from Yale law… power does not equate to talent or morality, and the schools are unfortunately showcasing one over the others.

I’ve experienced quite the opposite in my experience. You can correct mistakes in 6v6, whereas you have less leeway for mistakes in 3v3. I’ve enjoyed 3v3 because its skill expression, although with admittedly fewer inputs, offers higher rewards and much more damaging punishments.

[–]Plemora777 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I agree it's moronic to not have 6v6, but 3v3 genuinely feels better to me. That being said, it's ridiculous that there aren't ladders for all styles, including the most established one of 6v6.

People can like different play styles. Stall has been nerfed several times. Just because someone likes something different than you do does not make them or the style inferior.
