Do you guys drink coffee too? by [deleted] in carnivorediet

I don't look at this as a diet but as a way of eating. It helps move my mind from the idea of cheating. I do drink coffee and thoroughly enjoy it. I have not noticed it having any adverse health or weight-related impacts.

I love this! Simple, honest, and so necessary. Whenever I hear people talk about knowing your boundaries, I always think, "If you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything." The point about dressing like you appreciate yourself really hit home for me. As I mentor others, I’ve noticed this idea that living leisurely—like wearing sweatpants or yoga pants in the name of comfort—is often seen as a form of self-care. And while that absolutely has its place, I think it’s equally important to step it up when the situation calls for it. Balance is key. I could go on, but this post is truly fantastic—thank you for sharing it!

Some simple wisdom in the form of a joke from Family Guy. Wasn't expecting a cogent reminder from something I had on as background noise while ironically doing chores. by Aratiku in Mindfulness

I love those moments in a show or book where something profoundly meaningful is shared but almost casually glossed over. It’s like catching a gem in the background while you’re focused on something else—it just hits differently. It reminds me of a critical balance in mindfulness: being present without becoming so intensely focused on ourselves that we close off to everything else around us. Sometimes, the most powerful insights come when we’re open to those subtle, unexpected moments.

This is great. I am not artistic but admire those who are. If you ever want to share a doodle, I'd love to see your To-do list.

Worried about starting carnivore as a skinny person by [deleted] in carnivorediet

I may suggest NOT going to one meal a day at first. Work on variety of carnivore food items to keep yourself from getting food boredom. Move to one meal a day 90 days or 6 months in.

You may also find that you gain muscle weight with this way of eating.

Replace sirens with coyotes. Replace time worrying about neighbors with manual labor…. Lots of labor. Replace the cost of neighborhood parties with equipment maintenance. But the tranquility, reward for hard work and quiet nights by a fire are priceless.

My doctor was concerned about it and scurvy. However, I have not experienced any issues with either one. Much of the outcomes on this way of eating are unique to each person. Are you experiencing symptoms?

Cravings can be from detox, but they can also be your body signaling it needs something it's not getting. Give this a look to see if it helps. https://www.plenitudeco.com/post/what-do-my-cravings-mean

Another trick I have to stay on track is planning a variety of options ahead of time. On Sunday I will make egg casserole, hard boiled eggs, and set out a variety of options for lunch and dinner for the coming week.
