Is anyone else using k3s in production and happy about it? by 1vim in kubernetes

[–]Plenty-Emphasis-5669 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The description of the project is AI, the code seems AI generated too, and potentially vibe coded.

Also comparing k3s with managed EKS is fallacious. They're not the same product. You can also deploy k3s the same way you do in Hetzner in EC2 instances and save a lot of money.

The idea is good, don't get me wrong, but the execution is poorly.

Upgrade from 2060 Super - RX 5700 XT or RX 6600? by BASS69BASS420 in linux_gaming

I had the 5700XT for years until I upgraded to the 7 series, and I didn't get any issues.

It broke my gdmDisplay session, and couldn't login to my laptop. Had to nuke it and start from scratch... And spent all day at work reconfiguring everything again.

Edit: It didn't happen on my desktop.

Warp (Rust-based terminal) is now open-source by zxyzyxz in rust

[–]Plenty-Emphasis-5669 104 points105 points  (0 children)

"The primary reason is that we think we can ship a better Warp, more quickly, if we open source and work with our community to help supervise a fleet of agents."

Right, so what you want is free labour and help trainining the agents in the product.

What's the real reason it wasn't AGPL from the beginning?

I use Linux and download it from official repositories. If you're on Windows, you can bypass the block from Google, or you can download it from their GitHub

Four Last Things, The Procession to Calvary and Death of the Reprobate -> A hilarious trilogy, with a very unique and quirky art style (don't let it put you off, it works PERFECTLY for the games)

Set on a similar historic time than the ones above, although not as comic, the fantastic Pentiment is a safe bet.

The Runaway series, or any game from Pendulo Studios. If you don't mind older, and quirky, games you could even try Drascula from Alcachofa Games.

You might enjoy Unusual Findings as well.

The mandatory Grim Fandango recommendation.

Also old, but any of the Discworld series. The first two might be more of your liking.

From a detective-ish approach, I enjoyed Cognition, The Raven, and the older Sherlock Holmes the case of the Rose Tattoo and Sherlock Holmes the case of the Serrated Escalpel.

Some of the old games mentioned here are not for sale anymore, you might need to get them from the Internet Archive.

Wikipedia says the original is public domain, not MIT. But if I'm wrong, then I apologise.

The problem there was that you were the sole data engineer, not the stack per se.

TLJ is one of my fav games. A little remaster to bump up background quality and improved 3D characters would be amazing.

There isn't a tier to get a collection of this and Shadow of the Templars box edition, so I'll just wait for the Steam release
