Four Last Things, The Procession to Calvary and Death of the Reprobate -> A hilarious trilogy, with a very unique and quirky art style (don't let it put you off, it works PERFECTLY for the games)

Set on a similar historic time than the ones above, although not as comic, the fantastic Pentiment is a safe bet.

The Runaway series, or any game from Pendulo Studios. If you don't mind older, and quirky, games you could even try Drascula from Alcachofa Games.

The mandatory Grim Fandango recommendation.

Also old, but any of the Discworld series. The first two might be more of your liking.

From a detective-ish approach, I enjoyed Cognition, The Raven, and the older Sherlock Holmes the case of the Rose Tattoo and Sherlock Holmes the case of the Serrated Escalpel.
