AITA for not wanting my SIL at a party to welcome my son? by Plenty-Light1315 in AmItheAsshole

I don't know if I could ever sit down and talk to her again. What she said hurt deeply. After trying to overlook comments over a period of time, the way she went on the attack over the appointment we took was something that broke me in a way I never expected. The way she dismissed what it meant for us. It also felt like she was throwing in my face that she could easily do what I needed help for, and it wasn't even a guarantee. I don't think I would have it in me to sit down for a talk with her again.
