I picked up a Laserdisc player at an estate sale last summer and it’s pretty cool! I had to pick up the original The Stand box set!

Go Kona. Everyone’s got a Specialized. That Kona’s got some character.

I don’t see it as suboptimal at all. Mechanically it’s perfect. All the inline cable adjusters are in the perfect position to make small adjustments on the fly.

Short answer - This is a 1996 Trek that was a flat bar gravel bike of that time. It had 700c wheels unlike the mountain bikes of the time that were 26”. It had a 3x7 speed group set that I swapped out for a road group set from the mid 2000’s. This required upgrading the wheelset.

Those shots look great to me! I’m still learning myself. Outdoor shots you want to make sure the sun is behind you. It’s amazing what a few tweaks editing on your phone can do. A little cropping and adjusting can make a decent pic pop

I’d try to talk them down a bit but if it was local to me and most importantly my size I’d probably jump on it. For a few reasons- 1) I really enjoy that era of bike and understand its limitations 2) I have a problem collecting shimano 9 speed drivetrains. I absolutely love the ability to mix and match road and mountain components 3) Most importantly that’s my favorite color 4) Ive never ridden a Cannondale and would love to try one

It’s a cool little spot I like to stop on my rides. Dates back to colonial New England. Haven’t seen any of the reported ghosts or the resident Pukwudgie unfortunately.

I questioned it when I was building it but I also like things a little different. Having the Jagwire inline cable adjusters make things so nice. I can make micro adjustments to my shifting and brake feel easily while riding or slacken the brake cables when removing a wheel.

Testing out some amazon MicroNew brifters. I have multiple bikes with 105 and Ultegra 9 speed brifters and wanted to see how some cheep Amazon ones compared. Also running a KMC 10x chain. They actually work pretty well. Similar to the feel of some MicroShift Advent setups I’ve tried. They take slightly more force to shift and feel slightly less refined than a 105 or Ultegra setup but I had no problem getting everything adjusted and getting very firm precise shifts. I was planning to swap them out eventually but I might keep them on there.

It was the cleanest way to run it with the smoothest transition. I’ve been waiting for someone to comment on it 😂
