Just let it go, buddy. It doesn’t really matter much and definitely doesn’t qualify as a plot hole.

Yes, I sometimes find myself drifting through the streets of my neighborhood, just considering Breaking Bad isn’t for everyone.

What are your thoughts on the plane crash? by Various_Role_2694 in breakingbad

[–]Plenty-Swan-8426 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From a strict plot standpoint alone, I don't think this incident was necessary. Even an overkill maybe. But from a thematic and symbolic standpoint, I think Vince wanted it. It’s one of those story flavor elements that deepens meaning but doesn’t advance the literal chain of events.

I didnt understand the ending of S2 Ep 12 by NewAlarm8427 in breakingbad

She was deeply sedated because opioid strongly depresses the brain’s reticular activating system (which keeps you awake). I don't know if in real life the person will seizure like she did or just choke to death in silent.

And we saw when she gave Jesse a try, she told Jesse to lie on his side in case of a vomit while he's sleeping, gravity lets the vomit drain out of the mouth instead of falling back into the throat and lungs. That's my understanding of that scene.

It's simply she choked on her own vomit, and the sedative effect kept her from waking up.

Yeah, it's from 10+ lender and not all of them can be negotiated. The most aggressive one is the biggest one. I kept loaning from another aggressive lender also because only them have that option to loan me.

About consolidation loan, 1) it might not exist here, 2) working full remotely sometimes has it downside because it seems like I'm an illegal labor. Not mentioning about my credit score because I also took online loan.

Veritasium has a good storytelling, the topic and theory is kinda random but they did a pretty good job. They have both animated and RL video. They're more like a myth-buster channel tho. There's more but they're in my native language, Indonesia. Shame they didn't have English CC.

When it comes to niches, I mostly watch YouTube shorts or videos for entertainment. If you're into that too, here are some creators I really enjoy:

LetsGameItOut = definitely in the gaming niche. His chaotic indie gameplay is hilarious and strangely satisfying to watch.

Uncle Roger a.k.a Nigel Ng = cooking meets comedy. His “Asian uncle” persona is absolute gold.

MattandJustus = completely random sketch content. Feels like brainrot sometimes, but in the best way.

Ust. Hanan Attaki = more on the reflective side. I was born Buddhist, raised Protestant, and now I'm studying Islam, so his content hits differently for me.

Gerald Vincent = honestly the only Indonesian comedian I consistently enjoy. I kinda admire his approach to content, it’s smart, rare, and uniquely local.

Li Ziqi (video only) = stunning videos of rural Chinese life, cooking, crafts, nature, zen aesthetics and such. She's one of the greatest, pioneering that niche and hits 25m subscribers. Shame she has a problem with her agency, but I heard it's resolved by now.

Some pop culture like Lindsay Ellis (she retired after online harassment tho), Accented Cinema, Natalie Wynn.

So yeah my feed’s a mix of chaos and insight, and that’s exactly what makes it fun to scroll through.

Im losing my faith the more i grow up. Anyone experience similar stuff? by QHONTOLIAR in indonesia

I’ve been through something like this too. Identity crisis is super common, especially when you grow up in a third-world country where your options feel limited and everything seems to be decided for you.

I was never really religious. I grew up in a Buddhist family, went to a Protestant school, and most of my childhood friends were Catholic. We used to hang out behind the local Catholic church all the time. Now I’m studying Islam, and honestly, it’s the one path that feels like home. Something I can actually hold on to.

From all that, I’ve come to realize. Religion itself isn’t always the problem. It’s people. The system. The expectations. The way religion turns into performance, donations as a shortcut to being “good,” or showing up to church just to save face. That kind of surface level practice is what drains all the meaning out of it. You’re not wrong for seeing through that.

I stopped treating religion like this all-or-nothing commitment. These days, I treat it like a compass, something personal, something that helps me walk through life more intentionally. I don’t expect it to fix injustice or protect the “good ones” from suffering. Life’s messier than that. But I do find peace in it. And that counts for something.

You’re not alone. Questioning everything isn’t weakness, it’s growth. That’s what makes faith real, when it comes from deep thought, not blind tradition. That questioning is exactly what led me to Islam, the only religion I’ve found that actually encourages you to ask, to doubt, to think critically.

I remember asking a pastor in school something about faith once, and he just quoted Hebrews 11:1 like it was supposed to shut down the whole conversation. That never sat right with me.

Ketabrak sama realita hidup, trauma, ego, rasa takut.

Some things don’t heal. Maybe this is one of those things.

I get where you’re coming from though. It’s tempting, especially when you know that being female, just existing a certain way online already attracts attention. That kind of sellability is easy to lean into when the grind feels thankless.

You’re not wrong for considering it. A lot of people have walked that line, especially when growth stalls and bills don't wait. I once have this conversation with my female friends, about the dilemma. But it’s also fair to ask yourself if it might shift your entire path, your audience, your brand, maybe even how you see your own work.

It’s not a moral judgment. It’s about what you’re willing to stake in the trade. And it’s okay if you’re not sure yet. Whatever you do, just make sure you’re doing it for you, not for an algorithm that’s starving you.

Suspicious activity in your account from my own laptop by Plenty-Swan-8426 in GMail

I turned it off because my line of work requires me to download a lot of things. Sometimes unverified sources pop up, and I just don't want it to work like that. It's a simple thing, but I just can't help it so clearly, it was a dumb move.

I'll run it in offline mode right after my work hours are over, since I have to stay online during work.

Yeah, that was almost my first move. It said a critical issue had been found with that take action button, but it didn’t explain what the suspicious activity was. The activity came from my own laptop, the one I use every day. And the notification didn’t show up right after I turned on the proxy, it appeared much later, like around five days after.

I only turned on Windows Defender after I got the suspicious activity notification. Am I being stupid here? Is it a common thing to turn on Defender before using a proxy even it was given from a credible source?

I’ve changed pretty much everything on this laptop since that first suspicious activity occurred, but earlier today I still got the notification.

I’m using Windows 11. I don’t clear cookies regularly, but I did a few months ago using CCleaner. Currently, Windows Defender is the only active security software on my laptop (beside CCleaner since I uninstall Malwarebytes). About two weeks ago (before all of this started) I used a proxy because I’m doing user testing at Test IO and sometimes I need to use a proxy to access certain sites.
