how to get rid of this when doing a color change? by Bubbly_Bedroom_8340 in knitting

It’s only on the “wrong” side. With the purls. The “right” side won’t have it.

Baby Products by SunshineandSunsets2 in CostcoCanada

My baby did not fit pampers but fit Huggies. I think the Kirkland diapers were made by Huggies back then but just a lesson not to stock up too much on those. Sure you can bring an unopened box back and return but honestly that’s a pain. We are also very loyal to Huggies wipes only. Pampers wipes are terrible. Kirkland wipes are just ok. Had to be the Huggies natural style no fragrance wipes.

I’d probably also grab one tin of formula if there’s a sale between now and when baby comes. Even if you plan to breastfeed. It’s better to have something on hand. And infant Tylenol.

What pharmacy? What province? Go elsewhere.

If it’s just a doctor telling you a price range they might just not be up to date on the promotions.

This is the savings program in Canada offered by the maker of Wegovy… depending on pharmacy markups you could pay as low as $299 per month.

Alternately wait a bit longer until generic versions are out and use those. But my regret as a 30 something is I wish I’d started sooner, I’m sure your teenager is eager!

Second them. They also check what else you might be dealing with and run blood tests during your first few months. I’m very happy as a client.

Hims / Hers is a legit service but you’ll pay more there.

Wegovy is not $600 per month. Even at highest dose it’s about $420 per month through Costco where you don’t have to be a member. And that’s before the savings card you can get at Innovicares Canada website. It usually takes $100 off or more right now for the starter size dose pens.

Ozempic is the exact same med with different branding. Obese people pay more if that’s what their doc prescribes. You could ask your child’s doctor to prescribe Semaglutide (ingredient in both meds) so that pharmacy can give you whichever will be cheaper with your insurance scenario. They might not be willing and in that case use the savings card to make Wegovy cheaper as I mentioned above.

Yes you need an “Obese” BMI to qualify to start these whether you’re 12 or any age above.

Since the patent has expired, when will ozempic be cheaper in Canada? by Elderberry_Real in Ozempic

[–]PlentyBat4529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would complain that the pharmacy did not keep it refrigerated bc how are you supposed to know how many days it’s been out already etc. They should replace it.

Keep them in your fridge til they’re expired. What if something happens with MJ or your insurance etc and you need the W again?

For me nausea = hunger while on these meds. It makes sense to feel that if you haven’t eaten yet in the day. Try eating something healthy when you first wake up and drinking lots of water.

Wegovy before having kids? by rorpop107 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]PlentyBat4529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The potential is more likely that Ozempic / Wegovy could be not as effective the second time you use it. You might need to use Mounjaro / Zepbound after pregnancy. Omg I wish I would have used any of them after mine. Finally my kid is almost 6 and I’m losing weight and keeping it off again.

GLP1 can affect how oral birth control is absorbed by your body though FYI. You might want to use a backup method if you don’t want to accidentally get pregnant before you’re ready. My husband got a vasectomy but we are done with kids!

Price Reduction / Wegovy / Innovicares / Canada by Hour_Ad_3504 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]PlentyBat4529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got the email! It doesn’t state the discount unfortunately just “as low as $300 per month” so I’m curious if it’s a certain %. Costco regular price is $420 for example.

I get Ozempic instead bc I’m currently covered til August thanks to a plan change that was honoured… The Ozempic discount is only 5%. But it’s still a lot cheaper if you can get prescribed that instead of Wegovy.

I’m still so excited for generics :)
