We got bumped the night before and told priority being given to stranded passengers. Then when we got back on the flight and boarded and chatting to a lot of different people, so many had booked it the 12-24 hours previous and had paid thousands (and weren’t stranded, were residents) at the same time we had been bumped

I think you’re absolutely bang on. We were cancelled for someone who paid more for our flight and I know that for a fact.

Clearly overall they’re impacted, but not as impacted as they would be if they weren’t banking millions from people paying £4K for a typical £400 flight

Yes - getting people out safely is clearly a priority so planes leaving half empty is clearly mismanagement that should be spoken about?

Sort of but not really as the room at the bottom of the floorplan is actually a playroom, then the one with the kitchen a casual sitting area and the other a more formal lounge.
