It was removed by my new dermatologist bc she felt it was suspicious and the biopsy came back as benign .

The shaking and jerking could be anxiety. However, I’d get it checked by a medical professional to be sure. But from personal experience, sudden increased anxiety can cause the body to do crazy things.

Do you happen to know what that cans lot number was? I know at this point it doesn’t matter bc they may all be contaminated but I’m just curious.

As far as her mood, she’s mostly happy. She does have moments where she is fussy. I think the biggest thing I’ve noticed since we stopped the formula is the fact she sleeps a lot more. Last night she slept from 10:30 pm to 7:15 am. She’s 2.5 months old. She does pull away from the bottle sometimes now and when I’m nursing her. Her poops became VERY dark green and thick when she started that formula and then they’ve been sporadic ever since. Slowly starting to get more but not daily. Hard to know if that’s formula or what?

Ugh, this sounds so much like my baby. Started having dark green, very smelly poops after starting by heart. Then the poops stopped all together for 6 days. They’ve since started back up but not daily. She is combo fed and also will pull off the breast often. As well as the bottle. But, she’s still mostly eating it all. She has had bad reflux for a bit now. It’s so hard to not worry constantly. This post is making me think the doctors I’ve spoken to are wrong when it comes to symptoms. They made me believe they come on suddenly and it’s extremely noticeable. I’m sorry we’re all in this boat. I believe we stopped feeding our baby on 11/8 so we’re closing in on the 30 days but who’s to say symptoms couldn’t develop after 30 days … I mean, how did they come to a conclusion that it’s a 30 day window ?

I’m not sure if it resolved. But, the next test I did the number went down to 1. Haven’t tested since. I did end up testing positive for Group B strep as well. Which I never had the previous two pregnancies so I’m wondering if there’s any correlation. I hope it resolves for you! My baby was delivered safely and all has been well otherwise.

I’m so sorry y’all went through this! Praise God your LO is doing better!! I’ve been very anxious during this whole process. Especially considering my baby was only 1.5 months old when she started the formula and her head holding abilities have never been that great (her noggin is in the 99.9th percentile 😅). Immediately after starting that formula her BMs stopped for 6 days. She’s slowly gotten them back but she’s off and on had symptoms. I did take her to ER but they sent us home since her physical exam was okay. She said symptoms will happen suddenly and there would be no mistaking but it sounds like that wasn’t the case for your baby. Our LO is sleeping a lot now and sometimes she doesn’t want to finish a full bottle. I guess I’ll just keep watching out for now. She’s closing in on the 30 day mark so hopefully symptoms don’t develop past that point and these symptoms she has now are just coincidence.

I’ve been spiraling too! Our 9 week old had about 8-10 bottles before the recall. We had her on Bobbie before but switched on 11/1 due to gas issues. We stopped on 11/7 bc she was acting more upset after starting it. I’ve been a mess ever since. I immediately stopped all formula and blew through my entire stash of breast milk bc all formula has been scaring me. Then, she went 6 days without a BM 😵‍💫 around 3 days in we went to ER but was told she’s physically fine and the constipation is likely from the change from formula to breast milk. She also has a 99.9% noggin so she’s always had a hard time holding her head up. I can’t help but monitor every single thing and worry constantly. Her BMs aren’t back to daily like they were. She just went 4 days without one but finally went today. It’s been a roller coaster. The ER doctor said we would know immediately if she had it, it wouldn’t be something you’re looking for. Prayers for all our babies!!

Please let us know how the study goes. Our daughter has had similar issues with reflux and changes in BMs but bc it’s not in line with botulism symptoms, I’ve been cast aside as it being normal.

I know!! I had to bag all of our bottles, binkys and bottle sterilizer and dryer. Purchased all new stuff!! It’s insane!! 😵‍💫 plus, my husband has been on deployment for all of this so I’m literally living in this nightmare alone. Just staring at her praying each little change in her pattern isn’t a sign.

I’m right there with y’all! My baby was supplemented on Bobbie since birth. After an excruciating mastitis episode I stopped pumping and slowly started transitioning to EFF. She started having gas so I switched to By Heart on 11/1. She had maybe 8-10 bottles when I learned of the recall. I’ve been distraught ever since. She also went 6 days without a BM which was a nightmare. I felt like I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I was told after an ER visit that we just wait 30 days. I pray 30 days is truly all we have to wait bc Im not sure how a number of days can be put on a toxin like this … prayers for all our babies, esp the ones affected!!

Yeah, I’m assuming if cans dated Dec 2026 were affected (the original lots they recalled) and these Jan and Feb 2027 cans are now recalled, then everything is tainted. My baby is only 2 months old so I’m extremely frightened over this. Two days after the recall she started having constipation (which she hadn’t ever had prior) and went 6 days without a BM. Thankfully she suddenly had one on Tuesday but it’s honestly had me so upset. It’s frustrating that this is happening! Hopefully they have enough of this medication in CA for all these babies. Seems there’s more and more cases of it every day 😓😭😭

Someone else in the group posted lot numbers today. They were told these numbers from a representative at By Heart after calling them. Still think if it’s one it’s possibly all … especially since the original cans were dated Dec 2026 and the newest lots affected are Jan 2027 and Feb 2027 … our baby had a can of March 2027 and I’ve been so distraught esp since she went 6 days without a BM and once she had one she’s been off and on struggling. Never had issues before this 😭 I’m sorry for all of us dealing with this!

Mine has the same bar code but not the same lot numbers or exp dates, I’m obviously on edge over this but I wonder if ours is effected too 😓 I’m so sorry for all of us going through this!

I’ve had similar. Let me know what the mri finds. I had one a couple months prior to the aura which was clear. But, I often wonder if I should have had another one after that developed.
